Our family had an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving getaway at the Hideout! The house was incredibly comfortable and had such a cozy, inviting atmosphere that we felt at home the moment we walked in. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, cook together, and enjoy the holiday, and every room was thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect—quiet and scenic, yet just a short drive to all the charm and history of Deadwood. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the holiday and would love to return!

We had a group of four families for our trip to Lead. The five kids loved the bunk room, game room, and spent hours in the garage playing ping pong. The adults thoroughly enjoyed the deck with fireplace every night, and having each couple get a king bed and en-suite was perfect for our group. We explored the area each day - especially loving the waterfalls in Spearfish Canyon - and came home each night to a well stocked kitchen. The home was clean. The amenities were great. I would highly recommend Hideout on Hideaway.

This house is great for large groups because it has multiple places for people to gather. We really enjoyed the outdoor area by the fireplace. The home is located in a neighborhood but it is on the edge so no one is behind you so you feel like you are in a forest. Some of the downstairs towels were a little worn and rough but overall home is stocked well! Would definitely stay again.

The rooms were large and comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and the arcade room and the ping pong table was a huge hit with both the adults and kids. The community pool was close enough for us to walk to, but appreciated having our own hot tub in the back. It honestly was the perfect place to stay after long day trips and hiking throughout the area. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!!

Very clean and large cabin! Had plenty of room for us to do things together yet have our own private rooms and bathrooms. Will definitely be back!

Easy access to Recreatinal Springs for our side by side rentals and close to trails. It’s not too close to neighbors so you have some privacy which we loved. It’s also a short drive to Deadwood and Lead. We will book again for sure.

It is so hard to find 5 bedrooms, let alone 5 king size beds. And it is almost impossible to find 5 bedrooms, each with their own private bath. The house is just gorgeous and couldn't be layed out better. The kitchen island is huge. There was seating everywhere. We ate at the inside table and outside table. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck by the fire at night. September really is such a perfect time to vacation as the weather was perfect. If you are looking for a really nice place to eat, I would recommend the Latchstring Restaurant, up Spearfish Canyon about 11 miles up the road. Awesome view on the patio! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and would love to stay here again.

We have stayed there three times now, and this time it felt like we were walking into our own home. So welcoming, great floor plan and always so clean. We go with four couples and we love that we all get our own huge room, and a gorgeous bathroom. And it is so close to all the fun that deadwood has to offer. We already have it booked for next year :)

The outdoor covered patio was a family favorite with many evenings spent there. The many bedrooms (Comfortable king beds) and adjoining baths worked out well and the amenities were exactly as described. It’s a short walk to the club house where the two pools are located and it’s anice neighborhood for enjoyable walks.Highly recommend this home.
