Visiting the Highlands and staying at Vale Cottage has become an annual tradition for us. Everything about the cottage remains top notch and they recently upgraded the beds and TV's. The management team makes the process easy and while we didn't have any needs this trip, they have been very responsive in the past. We really can recommend a better place to stay in the area for a quiet weekend.

We've rented Kristy's properties for almost a decade and wouldn't stay in Highlands in any other rental. Her thoughtful design details throughout, easy check in and prime locations make every visit our favorite. We're so thankful to her and her team for always providing the very best. Our family memories through the years in Highlands always include Elevate rentals.

We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin is close to town yet far enough up the road to feel secluded and relaxed. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we could need. I had to work a couple of days and the wi-fi worked brilliantly. Will definitely return to this cabin or another Elevate property!

We loved our stay at Vale Cottage. It’s just a few miles from town and close to great hiking trails, yet still feels incredibly private and peaceful. It was the perfect place for us to relax and spend quality time together before the holiday rush. The cottage is beautifully appointed, the beds and linens are wonderfully comfortable, and the views—especially the November sunrise filtering through the trees—were unforgettable.

We had a great time as always at Vale Cottage this week. We left mid 90 temps for the high country. You guys are great host and we always enjoy seeing you. The cottage is everything you need for the stay in Highlands. It’s very close to town yet provides a mountain neighborhood environment for walking the dog or just good exercise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were as described. Kitchen is well furnished. We would definitely stay again!

Don't you appreciate when things are actually BETTER than expected? Thank you for another great stay in another Elevate Highlands Cottage. From our easy peasy after hours check-in, to the oohhh so comfy linen & mattress, oh yes, they have walking sticks, to the absolutely perfect weather (Kristy, how do you do it???), our stay was simply refreshing. We'll see you again soon.

We rented the Vale Cottage for a week in August with our two doodles. We felt at home the moment we walked in. The high ceilings and abundance of natural light were very appealing. The King bed was very comfortable and the linens were great. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners/property manager Kristy, Bill & Fay who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this property without reservation.

Vail Cottage is a great place for the active family. We have stayed here multiple times now. It is close to down town shopping, great food and ice cream. There are many hiking trails and water falls in the area. The cottage is a great place to come back to after an outing and relax on the screen porch. If you want to cook in, it is equipped with everything you need. The owners are great folks and they truly want their guest to have a great time.
