Stayed Jul 27, 2024My family, my brother’s family, and our parents met here and enjoyed our week. It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to drive into Buena Vista from here. The view from the house is lovely, and there were deer all over the property. The kitchens and bathrooms were well equipped, and there was plenty of space for our group!

Stayed May 20, 2024We loved looking out our towering windows at the grasslands and hills. It is a beautiful area, and definitely gave us a mountain experience. The view of the collegiate range as you come from the north is one of the most breathtaking we've seen in our decades of traveling to Colorado. The house is beautiful on the outside and in. Since this was close to Buena Vista, we did not realize how high the altitude was. I mention this because: 1) In case a guest has breathing issues. 2) We were there in late May, and the winds were rather high and it was cold. We had come prepared for Colorado weather, but this was colder! I'm not sure if it is always like this in May, but if it is, don't count on sitting outside much. : )
