The cabin was super cozy with spectacular views from the living room and porches! It was close to downtown Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, the alpine coaster and the aerial tram. We enjoyed how clean the place was and all the extra blankets in the home.

Nice, quiet location. Clean and well stocked. Decent water pressure. Drive was steep and not a lot of room to turn our car around.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family of five. We especially loved the peaceful setting and were lucky to see deer right in the yard. It was a great home base for exploring downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Highly recommend—thank you for a great stay!

Really great house with wonderful views! Easy access to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Like new pots and pans and plenty of glassware and dishes. We had another adult couple stay with us and we all had plenty of room. Coffee on the deck with the hummingbirds was most excellent. Saw plenty of elk and deer and even a marmot! Highly recommend-

Lovely time at the cabin. Assumed there would be ac which was my fault. I am from Louisiana where we are addicted to AC and assume everyone has it-LOL. Warm but we made due just would have liked to have seen NO AC listed as it would have factored into the decision in planning.

Our family of 4 stayed here in early June and had a very enjoyable time. The unit is well appointed and comfortable. All beds were very supportive and we all slept well. Thermostats for electric baseboard heat in each room allowed us to dial in our own preferences. The bathrooms are remodeled and good shower pressure, plenty of hot water. Nice deck with good views. Overall very comfortable. Admittantly nitpicky, one thing I would change is the absolutely horrendous coffee maker. Although I appreciate the flexibility provided with the Keurig that both brews k cups, AND standard drip, in practice, it does neither well. That said, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Good: Our stay in Estes Park was great and this property added to the pleasure. Most items were in nice clean condition, well cared for, beautiful log furniture and decor. The recliners were amazing. The Bad: The driveway way was way steeper and scarier to navigate than it explains and we have a 2020 chevy blazer which is a mid size car so anything bigger would take extra skill. My husband didn't have trouble, although he has driven 32' firetrucks in tighter spaces, but I would have had a terrible time myself and I am a pretty good driver in general. We did have to use 4x4 to get into the driveway on the misty days so be prepared. Next, I knew to get to the main floor on the property there were steps, however I saw the lower level entry door on the listing and figured we could use that as I have a fused ankle and steps don't always work best, especially outside steps. Because of the type of door handle and lock box on the handle, it was impossible to open it from the outside or lock it from the outside. The owner should consider changing that for convenience of those who are renting who would rather enter on the lower level, drop their coats and shoes then go upstairs. The hardware/handles on the sliding glass doors were broken and they used the sticks to keep them closed. (This may have just happened on the last rental before we arrived so I understand that they may not have had time to fix this, but there was no note explaining so it made it difficult to enjoy the decks from the patio sliding doors.) The Ugly: The king bed and queen bed were both very uncomfortable mattresses. I wish I could say the beds got better in the next 2 houses however they each got worse as we traveled on. These beds alone I would give 2 stars. My daughters $300 double mattress from costco is a 5 compared to these. If you are lucky and you don't have back issues or hip issues, foot issues, or generally can sleep anywhere, and drive anywhere, then this house is for you and my review won't scare you. This is not meant to scare anyone. It is meant to help those people like me who spend hours and hours researching properties for that once a year family vacation that need good sleeping mattresses for their husbands back, and mine too apparently, by giving my honest opinion and review.
