2-Person Romantic Treehouse Getaway in Hocking Hills, Ohio

My granddaughter & I loved it. So quite and peaceful. View was fabulous. It was very clean and well equipped. Close to all the activities we had planned. GPS took us right to it without issues!

the tree house was nice but very small and I thought there was supposed to be a microwave but there wasnt so we needed to find another way to cook something we brought

The hard work put into the structure and creation of the treehouse was very much appreciated. Only catch was the Keurig, but we left a not on the counter about that one. One small recommendation, maybe using gravel where the steps are to help filter water and keep the wood from becoming slippery may help. Beyond that, the panoramic view of the surrounding valley and ridge was beautiful.

It was Valentines weekend and they left us a box of chocolates and a card. This place is very clean! Well stocked. Great little spot for a getaway. Just loved it

We highly recommend this beautiful property! The views and the surrounding area are wonderful!! We visited in January during a big winter storm and even though the temperatures were not ideal, we still loved the stay and enjoyed the views. The driving directions were very clear and the hosts were thoughtful and attentive. We had all the supplies we needed and found the listing very accurate. We would absolutely recommend this property and hope we can come back soon!

We take 2-3 or more short rental vacations a year and this one was by far our favorite. The treehouse is amazing. You feel like you’re the only people out there in the middle of the beautiful trees. And we have never seen the stars like this before! On top of that, the place was so clean. Megan and Ian went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We loved staying in the cabin. It had everything we needed. The views were spectacular, and we enjoyed the fire pit.

I loved my stay at the treehouse getaway! The cabin was cozy and clean, and the floor to ceiling windows really made it feel like a treehouse. The view of the surrounding forest was great, and I especially enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning from the deck. They also offered a comfy blanket and dog cookies for my dog.

It was amazing! Perfect one night get away, secluded and private! Ian and Megan were very nice hosts, even got us a cake for our anniversary! Modern in nature :)

Secluded, up in the trees, could hear the whip-poor-wills at night. Cozy (16x16) but very efficiently laid out with pretty much every thing a couple would need. Clean, with up to date styling. Close to Hocking Hills attractions. Received a very quick response from the owners to the one question we had.

Amazing unique property! Directions to get there were clear and super helpful in an internet limited area. We were so surprised to see a birthday message on the TV and even a cake in the fridge! The treehouse was spotless and has everything we could have needed including a small wine fridge! The views are spectacular and we loved feeling so secluded. The host has a web link for his properties that told us everything we needed. Will definitely stay with this host again!

Romantic treehouse is exactly as advertised! Gorgeous, secluded getaway with amazing views. Location was brand new, clean and easy to get too.

Perfect place for a quiet relaxing getaway, yet only a 20-25 minute easy drive to all the top hiking trails! Property was fully stocked with all kitchen wares and towels, etc. very clean. The wrap around porch was so amazing, along with the views.

Cute and comfortable little cabin, love the windows, views on every single side! The only thing that was not ideal (for us) was the distance from the cabin to the fire ring. That is the only reason I took away one star. We saw several deer on our evening walks, the property is very quiet and secluded. The WiFi was a nice touch as we didn’t have much of a cell signal. Nice couple days in the treetops! Our pup loved watching the trees for squirrels!!

Absolutely perfect getaway! Tranquil, peaceful and the hosts are beyond thoughtful! The views are unmatched between the views from the treehouse to the views of the stars from the open area - we did not want to leave! Perfect little getaway for our 12th anniversary. A great little treehouse located in the Hills of Hocking Hills. Great views of the valley and the trees. Very quiet and clean. The host was very responsive to our questions.One minor issue, it would have been nice that they defrosted the freezer. Overall, a 5 star Hocking Hills getaway. It was a great place to stay with our dog. We plan to be back.

So so nice! Easy and fast communication with the host, treehouse was clean and had everything we needed and more. Just laying in bed and listening to the birds was just what we needed. And thank you, Ian and Megan for the “sweet” gesture you left for us to celebrate our 35th anniversary with.

Great remote location. Perfect getaway location

Megan was a very encouraging host! It was our 30th anniversary and she had a cheesecake waiting for us in the fridge. The treehouse is beautiful! We loved the wraparound deck, comfortable bed and beautiful decor with so many windows (our fav part). Megan was so quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend this treehouse.

Excellent place great stay!!

My wife and I stayed in the Treehouse Getaway for two nights. It is extremely private, quiet and in the middle of the forest. It is one of the most peaceful stays we have had anywhere. It truly was an incredible place. We would love to book it again someday.

My wife Maria and I have stayed in a lot of cabins even out west and this is the best view yet! There is no sign of another cabin or rooftop in the view. This view is better than the view that we had in the Great Smoky Mountains. This Treehouse is a must see. This place will be great to see even in the winter. This place is the hidden gem that your looking for:))

The property was as advertised. Cozy and spectacular. The ride in was anything but. I will say we were warned about using our GPS to find the place. Alternate directions were included, but they were not entirely helpful. And they certainly were not emphasized. Again:DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIND THIS PLACE WITH YOUR GPS. Long story short, we followed GPS direx and ended up on a road a monster truck couldn't navigate. Traversing the dark side of the moon would have been easier.Shout out to a relative of the owners, who led us to the treehouse. Once we got there (with only slight damage to the underside of our car) it was a great two nights. But man, what a nightmare getting there.

It was our 44th wedding anniversary and this treehouse was perfect. Very well equipped and so sweet. The first night it rained and that was even neat in the treehouse. I wished I could have stayed longer. They even had a cake for us in the refrigerator as a surprise. We will definitely go back. Thanks guys.

Very nice. Not really a treehouse per se it nonetheless was elevated among many trees. Somewhat difficult to find but very close to most attractions in Hocking Hills. Bring enough food and drink because stores are few and far between. Overall a nice place and pet friendly!

The property is adorable! It was very clean and cozy. Finding the place was tricky, however, so we did check in later than planned due to gps issues they do warn you about. It took us to an entire different property at first and you dont have any service. We had to backtrack until it was back to call the owners and get directions to follow. Thats not a huge deal, though. The owner was very quick to help us. The only issue I found with the property was not being able to wash our hair. The shower is very low water pressure and just trickled out.. you cant even try to fill your hands to splash yourself.. so dont super soap up your body, and id advise females with long hair to not lather your hair!!! Staying there was very relaxing otherwise! Id just like to share that small warning!

We're always seeking out little private, quiet retreats and this was a unique one. The windows all around make for beautiful scenery even inside. It was still wintry during our stay, but we were able to walk down the dreamy lighted path in the evenings to enjoy the private fire pit. The indoor electric wood stove also made it cozy. We appreciated a special request for a special need of sorts, being met by the owners. Considering a summer visit to enjoy the amazing balcony deck!

Wonderful place, we would like to come back sometime.

The treehouse was magical! Perfectly clean and private. Great location. Very cozy. Comfortable bed and pillows. We shopped at the local antique malls, stopped in Grandma Fay’s and the Christmas shop, and ate at Papa Dino’s and Jim Bo’s. The highlight of the trip was exploring Concles Hollow, Ash Cave and part of Old Man’s cave, they were really spectacular to see in the winter! We had a really wonderful stay!

The property was great. The only minor complaint I had was there were two different address numbers. One through Vrbo and the other in the welcome guide. It made it hard to find the place but we eventually found it. Just wanted to clarify so that can be improved. Thank you to Megan and Ian! We enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here! The facility is well built and maintained. I loved that the details and instructions were so clear and accessible via the app, and my wife loved that they were all in the guest instruction book on-site as well. This treehouse was everything we’d hope for! The location was beautiful and the treehouse was clean and welcoming. We loved all the windows and waking up to the sunrise every morning. The treehouse was equipped with everything we needed, including an electric grill for a homemade dinner. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I visited in early October to visit all the wonderful sights of Hocking Hills. The caves and hikes were amazing! Our stay at the Tree House was just as fantastic as our hikes. We would HIGHLY recommend staying at the Tree House!

Nice and quiet and at the top of the treeline of Hocking's Hills. Close to every major attraction at Hocking Hill. Ideal for getting lost in nature getaway.

The location was great! It was quiet and relaxing being up in the trees! The Cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. My wife and I had an amazing experience staying there. We love that we were able to bring our family pup with us, and was welcomed with a nice note from the owners and a few snacks. We would definitely recommend this place, and stay ourselves again!

Beautiful tree house in the woods near Hocking Hills. So quiet and secluded, we were able to see the Perseid meteor shower. Communication with the owner was a breeze.

This place was incredible. Great views, nicely appointed. My only complaint was the coffee maker was broken.

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxng long 4th of July weekend. Enjoyed listening to the rain on the roof, birds in the trees. Sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee. The inside of the place was beautifully done. All the details were thought of by the owners. Loved it!

Great place, hosted by Ian and Megan. We were at the treetops level looking out from our deck! Everything was great. Maybe a small microwave oven would have been nice, but certainly no deal breaker. Next time, maybe we’ll stay in your silo?
