Welcome to Trout Run Cabin at Lazy Bear Lodging! Cast away your cares as you relax in the Rocky Mountains in the town of Hungry Horse. Our cabins are located 10 miles (12-minute drive) from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and in the northern portion of the Flathead Valley. Our building is on 1.5 acres and borders Forest Service land.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025This is an excellent cabin close to the entrance of Glacier National Park. Four adult stayed in the cabin for 4 night. It offers everything you need. Great hosts!I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025Was very clean and close to Glacier's western entrance. The kitchen was well equiped and beds were comfortable. The rooms were quire hot at night. One room had a fan, which made the room pleasant enough. The other room didnt have a fan and it was pretty stuffy in there. Overall was a pleasant stay.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The cabin is just a few miles from the Apgar Visitor Center/Entrance to GNP. The cabin is super cute and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The A/C was a blessing as the temps were close to 100 in mid-July 2024. I highly recommend considering this home for your stay.

Stayed Jul 6, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Lazy Bear Lodging at the Trout Run Cabin. The location was perfect for visiting Glacier National Park and was an easy convenient ten minute drive to the West entrance of the park. The cabin had everything we needed for the trip including all the essentials as well as coolers and even bear spray that was available for us to use. The cabin was very clean and everything was in good working order. All correspondence was returned in a timely manner. With the unusually high 90+ degree temps the cabin got pretty warm in the late afternoons with no air conditioner available. With the windows open and fans provided it did cool off nicely throughout the nights. Would definitely stay here again as we loved the cabin and the location. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay on our vacation!

Stayed Jun 29, 2024The cabin “Trout Run” was so cute and far exceeded our expectations. Laura has thought of everything you might need while staying there. It was clean and decorated so cutely. We stayed there with our 2 daughters to visit Glacier National Park. It was a short drive to the West entrance. We loved the small town of Hungry Horse too. The Huckleberry Patch was wonderful for food and had a great gift shop. We also visited and toured the Hungry Horse Dam which was pretty cool! Loved our stay and highly recommend it.
