Canandaigua, New York
The Susan B decorated in blues and nostalgia with period pieces features a quality king-size mattress dressed with organic long-staple strand cotton sheets and a post frame, included is a cozy reading nook . The modern electronics are nicely hidden in an antique cabinet should you prefer the period ambience. The private ‘Euro-sized’ bath has a corner shower.
The Oliver Phelps house was built in 1813 and expanded in 1830. An example of Greek revival architecture, it retains lovely features for today’s guests: twelve-foot ceilings, wide plank floors, blown glass window panes, old-growth trees on the grounds, and the spaciousness of a great Federal period home.
Experience Canandaigua from one of five comfortably appointed and spacious guest rooms, all with private en-suite baths, several with fireplaces. Our home is tastefully furnished with period antiques, but updated for all modern conveniences, including WiFi and central air conditioning. Awake to a delicious three course gourmet breakfast served with local juices, coffee, or tea.

Karin did an amazing job at making any accommodations. The house was clean, decorated cute, and many options of rooms when booking (which are all uniquely decorated). The breakfast was all organic and from the farmers market. Different meal everyday and each was more delicious than the one before.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Terrific hospitality and extremely knowledgeable host. Breakfast was delicious and the room was cozy and relaxing.
Stayed for a long weekend. Would recommend to others and would return ourselves.
Was a great place to stay while we toured some of the Finger Lakes attractions and 4 of the homes that I had lived in as a child.
Each day at the inn started with an exquisite meal. The inn and the grounds were meticulous which brought both a peace and calmness to our hectic schedule. The staff was attentive and thoughtful at all times.
Nice home with great breakfasts with locally sourced food!
Our accommodations were cozy, beautifully decorated and pristinely clean. Breakfasts were delicious, creative and locally sourced. The staff was knowledgeable and thoughtful.
Everything was great.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic home. The lady who owns the house was very nice, and the breakfasts were delicious! Will definitely go back again!! Very relaxing atmosphere.
