Stayed Jun 29, 2023We LOVED our time in Ortigia. It was our first stop in Sicily and became our favorite. The apartment is at the corner of a very lively square. We live in a rural area at home so we loved the late night atmosphere and celebrations. Cafes, restaurants, shopping, and sights are all within steps you do not need a car except to go to a beach, which we did one day to San Lorenzo and that was so beautiful. My teens loved our sundeck day at The Solarium and we swam from the rocks one day too. Pizza Oleum was our favorite dinner and Cafe d'Ortgia was our morning coffee spot. The apartment is as pictured and Lucia was a lovely host.
