The house was exactly as described and true to the pictures. There was plenty of room and comfortable seating for all 4 of us.

Host was very communicative and accommodating. Property is in very good condition, clean, comfortable, and was perfect for the three of us. Could easily accommodate a larger group. Coffee pot and filters were especially appreciated. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, and an easy Lyft ride downtown. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was warm and cosy and in a good location. The showers were good and the beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was that with doors shut, the bedrooms got too hot, yet turning the heating down made them cold.

We had a great time staying in Portland! All the amenities you will need were available, and the location was perfect for walking to some of the attractions. Nick was incredibly accomodating and responsive, making our stay that much easier.

The place was very clean, conveniently located with a very well appointed kitchen.

Host was extremely responsive when we had a couple of questions. House was in nice area and we enjoyed the location.

Perfect place for a book retreat with two friends and I! Parking was kind of a hassle but it was great besides that. Highly recommend!

The apartment was very roomy for our 8 person stay. Very sunny and bright, a fully equipped kitchen, and room to relax and share meals. The neighborhood is very nice, coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. The Eastern Promenade was a 1-2 minute walk, with a great playground for our 3 yo granddaughter, scenic views, even food trucks.The middle bedroom’s sheets were too small for the queen bed. We also had just 2 spare rolls of tp - inadequate for our 7 adults and a toddler. Host Nick was quick to reimburse me for tp our last night.

Great location worked very well for our family of 5 with 3 kids. I would recommend asking about driveway parking especially if you have kids or those with mobility issues, seemed the street parking was tough to come by. Unit was clean and well equipped. Would stay again for sure.

My family of five with 3 adult children had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean, spacious and in a great location for seeing Portland. Nicholas was a great communicator and check-in and check-out were easy. I would stay again next time I'm in Portland.

My family (2 adults 3 kids) enjoyed a wonderful two week stay here. The apartment is in truly the ideal location: two blocks from the gorgeous Eastern Prom, including a great playground for kids, food trucks, and the East End Beach. We went for beautiful bike rides and runs on the close by trails every morning. The neighborhood has stunning views and delicious food. The apartment worked perfectly for our family, and Nick was super responsive and welcoming! We needed an extra chair, and he delivered it promptly - definitely exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality and communication! We would definitely stay here next time we’re in Portland and recommend it to others!

Nick communicated well. The property was in a convenient location and was cleaned well. The property was older than the post showed with water spots on the bathroom ceiling and some mold and mildew smells. There were no hooks to hang towels in the bathrooms or bedrooms. The upstairs were loud Friday night after bar close.

It was great overall. I had a problem with the check in process . Don't know what happened exactly but did not receive the final information about check in code then could not reach the host at first . When I did reach him he immediately gave me the code and then came by in person to make sure all was fine

This apartment on Munjoy Hill was very comfortable for 3 generations to spend the holidays together. It allowed for visits with friends since my mom is not very mobile these days. We got to spend some time enjoying our old neighborhood and all that it offers, including a growing number of restaurants and bars!

Everything on VRBO is accurate. Perfect location, clean, family-friendly and the check in process was easy. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portland.

So happy that I did not pass this one up...the home was gorgeous, comfortable, close to the water, and exactly what was listed. Nick was very responsive, honest, and answered my many questions. Our family's first visit to Portland to celebrate with my daughter for her white coat ceremony at UNE was one to remember. From waking up early to get some Holy Donuts, cheering on the local hockey team, meeting a wonderful florist, walking next to the ocean, and having an owl in the tree right outside our door made this trip so memorable. If looking to stay in Portland, do yourself a favor and book this home. You will be so happy you did!

The apartment is just as pictured. Very clean, cute neighborhood, easy access to shops and restaurants. Definitely consider the paid parking because there are so many street parkers even in off season. The kitchen is well set up with pots and pans, silverware, glasses etc. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. Very easy to get in touch with landlord with questions. Great idea lace!

It was perfect

The property is lovely, all on one floor and well laid out for a quiet visit. Nice kitchen and a living room separated enough for those early risers to have coffee without waking others.

Super location. So close and easy to get to many places. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out a little. Paying for driveway parking was so worth it especially when coming home after a long day of sight seeing. Nick is so responsive to all inquiries. All around great stay.

We had a lovely time at Nick's place. It’s a great space, well-maintained, clean, and great for a large group. However, we experienced multiple communication challenges that negatively impacted our stay. After booking the listing changed and the original terms weren’t honored. It initially stated occupancy for up to 10 without extra fees, but after booking, we were asked to pay for guests over six (currently the booking states extra fees over 5). We originally booked for 6 and added 2 more (still within max occupancy of orig ad). We informed him of this change nearly a month in advance, using his recommended VRBO process. Yet, we didn’t hear from him about paying the additional fee until the morning of check-in. This last-minute communication felt frustrating and avoidable. When booking you expect the terms at the time of original payment to remain unchanged. Additionally, despite giving weeks of notice and following up multiple times, it was very difficult to get approval for early check-in or late check-out. While we understand scheduling with cleaning crews can be challenging, the amount of follow-up required defeated the convenience of these requests. We do appreciate that he eventually accommodated a slightly adjusted timeline. Lastly, the listing photos were outdated, as the twin bedroom now has a double bed, which the host mentioned over the phone, but still hasn’t updated in the listing. Based on all of the positive reviews we expected more from his communication.

Not only was this rental clean and spacious, it was in such a great location - we really couldn't have asked for anything more! The waterfront is visible from the end of the street - boats and food trucks were out each day down by the water. Super convenient Rosemont Market just a block away for all the essentials. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. Perfect spot just a block from the eastern prom park, Rosemont bakery, and restaurants. Nick was very accommodating and easy to work with!
