Great for families and groups who need large rooms and privacy. King bed in primary bedroom. Floor plan is spread out and there are 3 tvs and a great outside deck. Perfect for a larger group of 6-8 people.

The entire 2nd floor and deck is private to this unit.

The home is in a very safe, central location within walking distance to many great spots. Be inspired in the Museum of Art, go for a scenic stroll in Deering Oaks Park, head to the waterfront for a lobster roll and walk to The Old Port for amazing restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

Very easy to walk to just about everything in the city. Centrally located in a very safe area. Just read the reviews!

Parking is not included with this listing but is easy to find. Sundays are unlimited on the street and weekdays there is a two hour limit. From 9-5 only. Meters can be accessed with passport parking app. Pleasant street, behind the building never has any limits. There is a lot and garage within a 2-3 min walk you can park starting at $20-25/day (subject to change) There is 15 min parking across the street for loading and unloading.
The pull out sofa is a full bed and it is located in the living room.

- This is a 1BR studio and 2 BR unit combined all on one floor with a great flow so it feels like just one unit when rented together.

- please bring garbage out prior to leaving. Trash cans in back of the building. Turn off lights and turn down heat to 60 and a/c off. Please do not leave dirty dishes in the sink.

Guest booking must be 25 or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period.

*No parties, excessive noise, or any illegal activity shall take place at property.

*No pets are allowed.

* No smoking is allowed in or around any property.

*No glitter or tape on the walls. If you use glitter or we find tape on the walls you will be charged an addition $150.00 cleaning fee.

Please remove shoes when entering. Sorry if this is a pain but with the mud and snow we get in Maine you will understand why its a must.

Cleaning: Each property will be cleaned and inspected after your departure. We ask you to help us enable the cleaning crews as much as possible. Simple things like leaving the property tidy, starting to wash the towels, and taking out the trash are a huge help.

If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. Unless the rental policy specifically allows, if any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes Owner to charge the guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee.

Properties are fully furnished properties that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, furnishings unless otherwise specified.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended for any stay.

    We enjoyed our time at this home. The interior is nice and filled our needs well. I loved the porch and enjoyed sitting out there morning and night. One note, I wouldn't recommend for those with mobility issues as stairs are involved.

    We were in town for a UNE COM graduation and could not have had a better place to stay. Everything we had planned was within walking distance. The place is so nice, clean, comfortable and having an outdoor deck was the best. Kathy was perfect at communicating from the start. The west end of Portland is fabulous. We will be back!

    Despite the rainy & cold weather we all had a great time in Portland & we could even enjoy the nice terrace for some sunny morning rays on Mother’s Day - just before heading out for a great brunch nearby. Neighbourhood is great & all in walking distance!

    We came to Portland to visit our daughter and had a delightful stay. The apartment is exactly as pictured and was very clean and cute. The linens were luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. If you or someone in your group has mobility issues, the stairs going up to the unit were quite steep. We had two seniors in our group that required some help getting up and down. The location of this property is very convenient to the waterfront, and we were always able to find a close parking spot on the street nearby. We would not hesitate to stay here again on a future trip.

    We loved Kathy's place! The location was perfect and within walking distance to almost everything that we had planned. We took an Uber to Portland's Head Light located in Cape Elizabeth because it was too far to walk, but we explored the rest of our trip on foot. Her place had everything we needed to include unexpected snacks and lots of coffee! There is a small convenience store very close to the rental where we bought wine, champagne, creamer, eggs, bacon, etc. for easy an easy breakfast but there are plenty of food places within walking distance if you want to eat out every meal. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The outside seating area was perfect for hanging out while sipping champagne with friends. The inside stairs are a little narrow, but manageable if you go slow. I will definitely be back!

    Cozy second floor apartment was clean and nicely located with some restaurants nearby (great ice cream/slush across the street) and a 15-20 minute walk to the heart of downtown Portland. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

    Spring St was the perfect spot for a family grt together with our daughters and their partners. Walking distance to much of Portland's exciting food options, large bedrooms, good common space and well equipped with necessities. Communication for check in was on point, and nice to also get a check in from owner to see if we needed anything else. Made for an excellent visit
