The space needs some touch up. The floors were dirty but nothing a little wet mop couldn’t fix. Comfortable bed, slept like a baby! All said, the price was certainly right for the space and the location was excellent.

Very convenient location on Folly with parking but the place could use some TLC and updates including the mattress and couch. The kitchen is a mini kitchenette and didn’t have a freezer.

The location is fantastic and parking is available. Just be aware there is not a freezer. There’s a small dorm size refrigerator. There is not a washer and dryer. However, the manager replaced the towels halfway through the week when I requested. The Internet can be a little spotty. The bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning works great. It’s an old school beach vibe house. Truly, though the location is great

Agree with other reviews-- this is a small rustic apt. Very clean and owner was responsive to all communications. I was in the area visiting family so was perfect for me. I'd definitely stay again.

The location of this property is excellent with close access to the beach, to restaurants, and to a dog-walking trail. We knew going into our stay that it was a small space, so that was not really an issue. However, there are several things that definitely made it less than comfortable, specifically threadbare towels, no toaster (as suggested in the description), no extra pillows/blankets, a toilet roll dispenser that is situated above and behind the commode, and pervasive dampness due to what looked like a recent leak in the roof. We don’t expect perfection by any stretch, but taking care of guests does not seem to be the goal here, particularly given the price.

loved this rustic beach getaway. BED so comfortable, shower great and VERY close to downtown and pier! Only 3 suggestions…leave instructions on how to lock the door with keypad, put in description that the fridge has no freezer and leave instructions on how to locate the walking path to the beach! We brought freezer items with no way to keep frozen. No big deal, just didn’t know how to plan. Will be back!!!

Nice place close to the beach. Very cold a.c. in the bedroom. Very clean and the owner was quick to respond to my questions Will stay here again.

Folly Beach itself is beautiful. However, it was almost impossible to breathe in the unit because it was so musty. The small dehumidifier in the main room does almost nothing. Difficult to enjoy the beauty of Folly and Charleston when it is impossible to get a good rest. The unit does however look like the pictures and i see the beach vibe they were going for. But i am not convinced one should be allowed to rent a unit with such poor air quality. Also the back exterior door has no way to dead bolt...its just weird.Was so bad that we left early!

The location was great. Close to public beach assess and local shops and restaurants. Police and fire departments less than 2 minute walk. Would love to stay again.

Just me for two night stay, spent most of my time at the beach and in town which was an easy walk from here. Recommend for 1-2 people who want to enjoy the town and beach

We loved our MOTHERS DAY weekend !!!! We loved how everything was in walking distance!!! We will be back.

This unit was exactly as described and perfect for two people. A great location, only a short walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The property was very clean and well kept up. We had a couple of questions at check in and our contact person answered this right away. The only drawback was the tv, it was streaming only. We usually like to have our morning coffee while we watch the news and couldn’t do that. Would definitely book this property again.

Crow's Nest is a tiny, but conveniently-located spot. Be aware that there is no ice and no freezer in the mini-fridge. The interior was clean, but the outside area was very messy, and we kept dragging in debris and needed to sweep inside often. While this accommodation was great for us for 2 nights, the place is too small and too dark for a longer stay with 2 people and a dog but is a great choice for a single.

Short walking distance to everything from beach to downtown. Communication leading up to the trip was great, and the property manager was a super chill guy.

The Crows Nest is a great little spot that has a super close beach access and is just a couple block walk to Center St. We have been coming to Folly for years and the location is awesome! It is a smaller unit but that did not affect the good time we had. Roger was responsive when we had a question and we had a great time!

Definitely a small space for a single or just a couple trying to get away. If it’s raining during your stay then I suggest not to book as the roof leaks and so there was brown water in different areas of the house like entry or the counter. So hopefully they fix it soon. We also did not like that the home smelled like cigarette(we don’t smoke). We believe it’s because there’s a fan that goes to the outside which is the garage next door. So anytime anyone outside would smoke then it just smelled all around the house. Another thing was that there was still dog hair on the couch. Overall it was really easy to enter and just easy going. Everything else was clean.

Owner responds quickly to any communications, it’s a great location location, saw an Owl in one of the oaks that overhangs the street. Pictures are accurate and a great representation of the rental unit. Definitely no issues with humidity, the owner has fixed any issue you read about in earlier reviews.

Overall the stay was good. Property manager and cleaning personnel were were good to work with.

It was our first time at Folly beach and this spot was perfect! It was right by a beach access point and downtown. Besides for driving into downtown Charleston we did not need our car at all the full trip. Great place for long walks on the beach and bar crawling.

The property was as described.It was very clean and just a block from the beach. For a single person or a couple it's perfect. It was stopped with necessities and clean. The house was easy to reach and responded quickly and. I would definitely stay there again.Should I return to folly.
