Imagine waking up to rolling Tuscan hills stretching to the horizon, stepping out onto your private terrace with a cup of coffee, and realizing you have nowhere else to be.

No crowds.
No tour buses.

Just the church bells, the fragrance of home-cooked delicacies, and the peaceful rhythm of a village that feels unchanged for centuries.

You’ll naturally fall into the village pace: morning trips to the bakery, the perfect espresso at one of the local bars, wandering medieval towns and nearby nature trails, sunset aperitivo on your terrace with a bottle of Chianti and local specialties, and dinner at any of our four restaurants—including La Pergola, a nationally prize-winning pizzeria.

In the evenings, locals gather on benches in the piazza to share stories—and you’re welcome to join them. Our guests tell us this is the Tuscan experience they’ve always dreamed of.

The lower suite is the romantic heart of the home: an old wrought-iron bed, antique furnishings, its own full bathroom, and a magnificent view of the valley that will take your breath away every single morning.

The upper bedroom is spacious and modern in feel, part of the bright, loft-like top floor with a central skylight that fills the entire space with Tuscan sunshine. Its glass wall creates an open connection to the adjacent living room and terrace overlooking the valley.

A quieter third bedroom on the lower floor has a full/queen sofa bed, its own bathroom, and a wall-to-wall closet.

Guests love using it as a private reading nook, a remote workspace, or a retreat for anyone who wants a bit of solitude. In total: three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and space for two couples with children or up to five adults.

The open-plan kitchen centers around a large marble island where everyone naturally gathers. A striking travertine accent wall adds character to the space, and the working fireplace isn’t just decorative—there’s firewood ready for grilling on cool evenings.

You’ll find everything you need: full fridge with freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker, plenty of dinner and glassware, and all the utensils you need to cook meals worth lingering over.

The old traditional dining table seats six to eight, with additional comfortable gathering spaces in the upper and lower living areas. Original 14th‑century details—stone archways, hand-hewn ceiling beams, terracotta floors—blend seamlessly with contemporary Italian touches: modern comfort meets historic charm.

Radicondoli is an authentic hilltop village, not just a tourist attraction, but a living community where you’ll experience the genuine rhythm of Tuscan life.

Everything you need is a few steps away: plenty of free and safe parking a few blocks from the house, a bakery with fresh bread every morning, a butcher, a well‑stocked grocery, four restaurants, two bars, a pharmacy, and three beautiful medieval churches.

There’s a gym just 50 meters up the street and tennis courts nearby.

During spring, summer, and autumn, the village comes alive with an arts festival featuring music, theatre, and exhibitions, plus traditional food and craft festivals where you’ll taste the real Tuscany, showcased by top local chefs.

And let’s not forget our extraordinary Christmas Market in November, a unique and fun‑filled event.

Radicondoli’s central location makes it the perfect base for exploring the entire Tuscan region.

You can take easy day trips to iconic destinations—and then return home for a fun and relaxed evening.

Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, and the Chianti wine region are all easy drives.

Visit the hauntingly beautiful Abbazia di San Galgano or the ancient Etruscan town of Populonia, with its archaeological park overlooking the Mediterranean.

Taste the wine and organic olive oil produced by locals and discover artisan cheese makers where you can pick up handmade pasta, sauces, truffles, and cold cuts for your dinner or to bring home as gifts.

And some days, the best plan is no plan at all.

We want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive.

You’ll find a fresh display of fragrant local herbs and a fully stocked home with everything from laundry soap and shampoo to paper towels, toilet paper, and kitchen basics including olive oil.

Our local host Karin is a wealth of knowledge and will greet you with personalized recommendations for restaurants, day trips, and hidden gems only locals know.

Fast fiber‑optic Wi‑Fi throughout the apartment (perfect for streaming), easy parking one block away (after you drop your bags at our door), a washing machine, iron and board, hair dryer, linens, and towels—all the comforts of home so you can truly settle in and exhale.

We also have a baby crib available, should you need one.

Available year‑round with a minimum two‑night stay.

Whether it’s a romantic week for two, a multigenerational family adventure, or a slow month living la dolce vita—this is the Tuscany you’ll talk about for years.

Book your dates and start counting down.

We stayed for 8 days in this wonderful location. The views from the master bedroom and the top floor took our breath away every single day. The people in the town were very welcoming and friendly and the town itself has very good restaurants, a great bakery, and a coffee shop. We enjoyed experiencing the locals in the evenings as they gathered on benches to share their days. It is truly an authentic experience. The accommodations were exactly as they are seen in the photos. The entire place is well decorated, the beds super comfortable, and the apartment very clean. I have travelled a lot and rented a lot of places and this place rates as one of my top rentals because the owner provides more than you often get at other rentals. She provided basics such as laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner and all the kitchen basics including a bottle of local wine. This made our last week in Italy the best as the 2 other rentals we had before were so basic that we were grateful to have lots of hot water at this location! From this rental you can travel to many other locations for day trips. A trip to the beach is a must as well as wine tasting at the local vineyard Camporignano.

I cannot say enough about our stay in Cristina's place. From the very moment we booked we were given so many great tips and details of things to do in the area which only added to our excitement to experience this Tuscan village. Driving in it was already dark and still we could already see how truly special it was there. The cozy streets lined in beautiful brick and stone made us feel like we stepped back hundreds of years....artistic paper lanterns in the shapes of birds and fish draped loosely above our footpath made for a magical walk to our home for the next four days. Pictures do this place no justice, it is such an incredible blend of modern all the while retaining incredible original pieces of the past left untouched. Fresh flowers were placed throughout the house and a bottle of Chianti on the table, small touches that were unexpected and beyond appreciated. The best part was waking up in the morning and being stunned by the spectacular views, I actually ran and woke up my husband to come see and we both stood there silent, a great moment we won't forget :) The village was beautiful, restaurants great (if you want a local amazing steak get the Florentine Steak (Bistecca alla Fiorentina) you can walk to N Granaio restaurant right up the road!) It is a beautiful drive to many different sights and plenty to do! We hope to come back for an even longer stay someday and I highly recommend visiting and staying here. Thank you Cristina for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Our family stayed here in June 2018. The house is comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and has all the necessities for an extended stay. It's located on a charming street in the middle of the village...like a scene from a storybook. The village has two small grocery stores, a bakery, butcher, three restaurants, two bars/cafes, and the village church. People are very friendly. Karin is so welcoming, very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. She even had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We recommend it and would certainly stay here again...we were all sad to leave. Cristina was wonderful to correspond with and very accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat was beautifully decorated, well-planned and well-equipped, the view from the terrace was spectacular, beds were comfortable and the owner and host were both very friendly and helpful. The village was lively and we felt part of the daily Italian life; going to the bakery in the morning, queuing up to fill our water bottles, visiting the small food shops and the restaurants of the village. For future visitors it is good to know that the village is quite remote, far up in the hills, which means it takes at least 30-60 minutes to drive to other towns you would like to visit. The only minus of the flat was that it was quite cold which I suspect is normal in Italy in this season (late October-early November).

We spent two weeks in this lovely apartment in Radicondoli. The apartment is very comfortable and we felt instantly at home away from home.It is very tastefully furnished without losing the original charm. Very spacious accommodation with stunning views from the balcony over the Tuscan hills. It is very well equipped and makes for easy living. The owner is very charming and always available and the apartment is locally looked after by the very friendly and competent Karin who also gives great advice on things to do and places to visit. Radicondoli has three very good restaurants, all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. If you feel like a truly relaxing and stimulating holiday, this is the place for you.

One of the most amazing places I've ever been. Beautiful views and an absolutely charming place that mixes the old and new in a unique way. The decoration and layout of the place impressed me, the view from the window is breathtaking.

Everything was great. A little dark around the dinning room table. Lots of supplies and extras. Loved the softness of the downstairs bedroom duvet cover. I want one lol. Karin was very helpful. Thanks for everything.

We spent a week in Radicondoli in July 2014 and had a great time. The house is charming and comfortable, with views on the Tuscan hills. It is well equipped, with lots of light. We would go back often if we didn't live on the other side of an ocean!

Traveling as two couples the separate baths and bedrooms was ideal. The apartment is as presented in the photos. It is large, clean and well equipped. The terrace was perfect for enjoying locally purchased wine, cheese and salami at the end of the day. We had dinner in each of the local restaurants and all were good. We did day trips to Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle Val d' Esta and a local winery. Marina promptly answered all questions and her local manager, Karin, was very helpful and pleasant. Radicondoli is a lovely small village and this is a great apartment. I would highly recommend both the town and apartment.
