The apartment was great. Big living room, 2 bedrooms. The location was incredible, right in the heart of downtown Woodstock. Check In, Parking, etc. were fast and easy. Could not have had a better experience.

We visit family in the area and we have stayed here twice, now. It’s a wonderful location right in the middle of Woodstock with fantastic restaurants within walking distance. There’s a fabulous bakery across the street (Bread Alone). The apartment is right above a bookstore that the owners run. They are great people who are very responsive. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful — every detail feels thoughtfully chosen, creating a warm and welcoming space. The full kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, and having a washer and dryer during my stay was so convenient. The location couldn’t be more perfect. I walked to town every day, and most evenings I enjoyed an easy stroll to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Jeff and Audrey were wonderful hosts, offering thoughtful suggestions for things to do that I never would have discovered on my own — the kind of hidden spots only locals know. Visiting their bookstore was another highlight and added something truly special to my trip. My time here was relaxing, comfortable, and truly enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to returning.

This is probably my favorite stay, ever. The place just felt like home, spacious and thoughtfully arranged. Right in the center of town but quiet at night, sitting on the deck in the morning was a treat.

The property was exactly as advertised! It was neat and clean and extremely well-organized.The property is right in downtown Woodstock near shops and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay at your apartment. It was also nice and clean & well equipped with everything we needed.The location was perfect. We traveled to see the Monastery & also saw the Kaleidoscope which was very interesting.This was our second visit & will be coming back for a 3rd.

Above the Books has to be the best place to stay in Woodstock. Our hosts, Jeff and Audrey were wonderful. They were accommodating, informative, and just great to talk to. The unit was well furnished and very comfortable. Best of all was the location, within walking distance of everything. And private parking. We're already making plans to go back.

Excellent all around. We booked this space for visiting friends and it will now be our first choice for any other guests. Communication was warm, friendly, and helpful. The apartment has been lovingly decorated and has every comfort needed. It’s a gem. And of course, being located above wonderful Mirabai only makes it more perfect as a Woodstock experience. Check in was very easy. The hosts are super helpful and kind. The kitchen was very clean and had plenty of utensils.

We rented the apartment because we needed two bedrooms and a deck. We couldnt use the second bedroom because the air-conditioning didnt work. It was a 100 degrees in there so I had to sleep on the couch. Then to top it all off the deck was covered in moss so it was a safety hazard to go out there. The apartment definitely needs a good cleaning. I lost my pen under the couch and I ended up with a handful of potato chips, tissue and dust. Very disappointing stay.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, lovely, perfect location to walk the streets of Woodstock, NY. I would DEFINITELY recommend this location to anyone visiting.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at Above the Books. It’s close to all restaurants and shops, right in the middle of town. The apartment is spacious, with a deck and the kitchen has everything you need. Jeff and Audrey are excellent hosts. We will definitely be back.

This is the third or fourth time I stayed at Above the Books. That should say it all. I love the location on the apartment... smack in town. The apartment is warm and cozy . Except for one slip up with the window, everything else was easy. I love the fact that the owners are right downstairs during the day. I will stay again.

Such a wonderful stay. Took my best friend away for a weekend in Woodstock NY for her bachelorette. She wanted a zen, quiet getaway with friends, that is exactly what she got, she loved it!! Had lots of plans but ended up staying in most of the weekend and it was sooo wonderful and relaxing. They also have a book store down stairs and had a Tarot Card reader while we were there, she was amazing! Would definitely love to go back again. Awesome place and awesome hosts! This is my third time staying at “Above the Books”. We always have a lovely and relaxing stay and the hosts are very responsive. The apartment is clean and cozy and located in the heart of Woodstock where you can walk to all of the restaurants and shops. My wife and I try to play a yearly trip to Woodstock and have found the perfect place to stay :)

From the moment we met owners Jeff and Audrey in their adorable store below the rental I knew this would be a special place. Located in central Woodstock near everything, this home is cozy and well appointed. The perfect size for the three of us with one huge bedroom and one smaller, a full kitchen and lovely living room. There is a special feeling and we hated to leave. The owners couldn’t be nicer and they thought of everything. The coffee was amazing and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful apartment above Mirabai shop, in downtown Woodstock. Location is close to shops and restaurants. Apartment is really cute , clean and comfortable. Would definitely want to stay there again if back in that location.

This large apartment is centrally located for easy walking in Woodstock. Parking is available. Check in and out were easy. The space is funky and creative, just like the town. Hosts were super responsive. Will absolutely stay again.

My friend in I booked this fun apartment above a wonderful bookstore for a weekend trip. The location was perfect. The apartment was comfy and so cute. We loved sitting on the deck! We are only sad that we left before the bookstore opened in the morning. We really wanted to grab some things.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We were in Woodstock for an event at Colony Music Hall and this was located right around the corner, walking distance. The space was clean, and the hosts were so kind!

This property is amazing - you could not possibly be more centrally located. Right on Tinker Street, you are right next to all of the restaurants and shops, and across from the amazing Saturday and Sunday flea market. This is the best rental in town. Description and pictures are 100% accurate.
