Tropic, Utah
The River Stone Inn at Bryce is centrally located just 10 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park and 7 miles from Grand Staircase National Monument. This is a cozy bedroom located on the main floor of a charming historic home with a private entrance. Keypad for security. Queen bed with unique custom bathroom featuring a walk-in river stone shower. Kitchenette includes refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. High speed fiber optic internet included.
The grounds are quite extensive with a fire pit that is pleasant to sit by in the evening and lots of comfortable lounge chairs. Very pleasant interior with a nice basket full of snacks and other thoughtful touches. Highly recommend this studio.
Cute little room, but there is no kitchenette.
Perfect location for resting after a long day in Bryce. Angela was welcoming and the caretaker Randall was so friendly!
Very helpful, and provided great advice on hiking opportunities. Quiet and peaceful setting. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely dtay here again.
Listing stated, Kitchenette includes refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker... This is a room with a small microwave and small fridge in the closet, a fold-down table and the coffee pot on a shelf just inside the door. They left us coffee, and some oatmeal packets and some snack bars. There were some paper cups for making coffee and some ceramic ones in the medicine chest in the bathroom, but no silverware - plastic or otherwise. We have done several other VRBO accommodations and had some really nice stays, but this one was a little disappointing. The shower was pretty cool though! The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was country quiet. If you plan on booking this room, I would plan on eating out during your stay and maybe bring some plastic silverware if you need to eat in the room.
This place was perfect for my husband and me. Our primary purpose for visiting was to hike in Bryce Canyon National Park. After tiring days it was nice to have somewhere close to stay and rest. Dixie thoughtfully left us maps/guidebooks and a few little goodies, including some much needed chapstick with spf :) We would stay here again.
The Tropic Room was just as described. Very quaint. Loved the shower and the little extras that were provided. Would definitely stay again if in the area and will recommend to friends/family.
This room has NO air conditioning and NO TV. We could live without the TV. However, we tried to sleep in a 90 degree room for two nights, and did not succeed. If you are coming to southern Utah in the summer months - avoid this property like the plague. We left so exhausted and sleep deprived - it probably wasn’t even safe for us to drive. Terrible experience for way too much money.
