Very cool place to stay

Joe is a great host that shared interesting history about his property. We had a great time during our stay finding easter eggs within the space.

The hosts are amazing and attentive! Would certainly stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This place was insane (in a good way) my only complaint is how many stairs there are but how else are you supposed to get up there? lol truly a unique experience. I felt like every time I looked around I saw something new.

This Penthouse apt exceeded my expectations. The host,Joe, met us at apt and got us checked in. He told us a little history of the building, and was very accommodating. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is centrally located in downtown area within walking distance of restaurants, gas station, bakery and ice cream shop on the ground floor. We hope to make it back here again one day when we can stay longer, 100% enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved staying at this property. Probably one of the most unique places we’ve ever stayed. Everything was totally dialed in for us and working with the property manager was super clear and direct. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is insane! I mean WONDERFULLY insane...LOVED it!! Fully stocked, incredibly spacious, and like staying in a museum. Location is perfect! Only potential drawback (for some) might be the steps to the top floor. Host says 59, but I only counted 48...but nevertheless, that could be a problem for some guests (but wasn't for me). If you're in the Fayetteville area, this is a must stay!

If eclectic is your style, this is your place. A surprise in every corner. If you are sensitive to dust maybe reconsider. Host is what you would expect in such an imaganative space.

Very fun place with lots of history

Wonderful location, charming, unique, cozy, and fun space! Highly recommend to all our family and friends! Well done Joe and thank you for everything!

We had an amazing time! It was a surprise location for my husband. Joe, our host, was so great to contribute to the gotcha moment. It's such a unique set up...definitely one of a kind! We also found plenty to do in the area - a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery, wine tasting, great food and a hike to a gorgeous waterfall. Make sure to try the first floor ice cream parlor during your stay! Loved it!!

This is the second time we've stayed at this magical place. The location is perfect on main street in the town square. The square has tons of new places to visit. The apartment fills you with great vibes by being surrounded with all the fun and history.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The property itself is absolutely stunning! The host has done an incredible job preserving its character while offering modern convenience. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Do yourself a favor, and make it a long weekend stay (at least!). We will definitely be coming back for a longer visit. There is SO much to see, learn, and enjoy. Staying in the Pythian is an experience. Take it all in. The history is incredible. Go antiquing around the historic square. Grab dinner & margaritas at the mexican restaurant...all within walking distance. You won't regret it.

We loved our overnight stay! It was to have time alone together and there was so many unique items and conversation pieces in the room it kept us occupied/talking for hours. Allowed us to leave work behind and enjoy our time. The owner is super as well!

A few of my family and friends wanted to gather for a costume birthday dinner. Not only was this a perfectly magical place to set the celebration, it was probably the most interesting and delightful rental I’ve ever come across. I wish we could have stayed longer just to explore this exquisite space more. What a treat! Thank you for having us?
