Stayed Jul 11, 20254 couples stayed for the weekend celebrating 50th birthdays. It was great! The pictures dont do the place justice. It is so roomy with a large group. Plenty of space. Nice , beds, towels, bathrooms. Nicely equipped kitchen. The host was great and responded quickly, very accommodating. As it state in the description, it is by local bars, they have a lot going on till bar close. With the ear plugs provided, fan and air conditioning. It didnt bother us. It was a bit entertaining. It is in the middle of downtown. We walked everywhere.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025The Original is a gem -- easily among the coolest, most memorable vacation rentals we've ever booked! If you love historic or unique places, look no further. Just walking from room to room is an experience! All the history, the decor, the details. Khouri clearly has a deep love and appreciation of the loft and its backstory, and it's obvious that she's poured a lot of herself into making the place a statement. Sincerely, I could live there!The location is perfect, too. So walkable -- close to Riverside Park and countless restaurants and downtown shops, including The Pearl with all its treats.If you've never been to La Crosse, don't miss stopping at Big Al's (their taco pizza is the best!). Buzzard Billy's has also become a family favorite when we're in town -- oh, and the Breakfast Club for...um, well, breakfast, of course!Thank you for the hospitality. Can't wait to come back!

Stayed May 2, 2025Our family stayed for the weekend to watch our son run in the marathon. The location was great to walk to restaurants, bars and the finish line. It’s beautiful and historic and just a great space for our family of 5 to stay together. The only downfall is the noise from the nightlife that goes until bar close. The host has provided noise machines and earplugs to help minimize the noise. I highly suggest using them. It was well stocked and clean. We had a great stay!

It was decorated for Christmas at the time of our stay which made the experience even more magical. It was like walking straight into a Hallmark movie. The history in this place is amazing. Truly making this a great stay and we would love to stay there again
