Welcome to our beautiful villa & apartments on the paradise island of Bequia in the Grenadines, Caribbean. The Lookout is a newly refurbished & re-modelled 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom property, located just a few minutes’ walk from two of the Caribbean’s best beaches (Princess Margaret & Lower Bay), featuring pure white sand & crystal clear waters. The beaches are quiet, unspoilt & un-developed but fabulous beach bar/restaurants are dotted along the sand, so our guests are never too far away from freshly cooked fish or a cooling sundowner! The villa’s enviable location also provides a breath-taking panoramic vista of the Caribbean Sea, Lower Bay beach, stunning Admiralty Bay and the surrounding pristine natural forest.

The island’s beaches, bars & restaurants are within striking distance, yet The Lookout’s quiet, hillside setting allows guests to relax & rejuvenate in peace & tranquillity. The Lookout is a spacious, private property offering boutique style accommodation perfect for couples & families. The whole 4-bedroom villa can be rented (comfortably accommodating 8 guests) or the upper & lower decks are self-contained, allowing couples to rent an individual 2- bedroom apartment. The Hummingbird Deck is the lower floor apartment. This well-appointed villa is surrounded by tropical fruit trees that include bananas, oranges, limes, star fruit, papaya & sugar apple. These beautiful surroundings attract wildlife such as hummingbirds & the island’s unique “wild” land turtles. Well-equipped kitchens on each floor provide guests with the convenient option to cook their own meals (or why not let us organise a private chef for you!). Due to the elevated position of the villa, even our lower Hummingbird Deck apartment has a breath-taking, panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea, Lower Bay beach, stunning Admiralty Bay and the surrounding pristine natural forest. A wooden deck has been extended from the lower floor of the villa, allowing guests to soak up the view, lounge in comfort, as well as dine & entertain al-fresco. A tropical garden surrounds the deck and attracts beautiful birdlife including daily visits by numerous hummingbirds. Sipping on your morning coffee and watching these amazing creatures collecting the flower nectar is a pleasure. The warm Caribbean sun sets majestically out to the front of the apartment, then hang around after sun down for a spectacular & vivid starlit sky.

The Hummingbird Deck apartment has two beautiful en-suite bedrooms. The large front bedroom has a queen sized 4-poster bed with mosquito net and has access to the wooden front deck via French doors. It also has an en-suite bathroom with “rain” style shower to the rear. There is a dressing table as well as ample storage & wardrobe space. The rear en-suite bedroom is peaceful & quiet, with twin beds, dressing table & storage.

In the main living area of the apartment lies a well-equipped kitchen, with gas cooker, fridge freezer, tea & coffee making facilities & all the home comforts. The thoughtfully designed, large windows & French doors allow guests to admire the ocean view to the front. The kitchen opens out into the large living space with a breakfast bar & seating. The generous living room has a two large sofas, a coffee table, bluetooth tower speaker and storage space as well as access to the front & rear bedrooms.

The central location of the villa means that several white-sand beaches, the main town of Port Elizabeth and the Belmont Walkway, lined with numerous bars & restaurants, are all within walkable distance. Alternatively, jump on an open-sided pick up taxi or hop into a “dollar van” and anywhere you desire to visit on Bequia is just a few minutes ride away. Don’t forget that, although Bequia is the largest of the Grenadine islands, it is just 7 square miles in size!
