A beautiful upstairs apartment decorated in a cozy farmhouse chic aesthetic. Filled with tons of natural light and located right off of King St. This beautiful apartment is walkable to everything downtown and contains all of the essentials for a wonderful stay in the heart of Charleston. Filled with cozy textures, this apartment will meet all your needs for a weekend getaway in our beautiful city!

Please note that we also charge an additional $100 pet fee per pet.

Guests will have full access to the entire apartment during their stay.

The apartment is located in the Cannonborough/Elliotborough district, the new hot spot for Charleston locals and the only neighborhood that allows short term rentals. It’s close to all the historic draws of the city and next to all the bars and nightlife on Upper King Street. With proximity to these city life essentials comes a bit of noise, but not to worry! You'll be provided with white noise machines to ensure you have a comfortable stay!

This apartment is located right off of King St, so it's walkable everywhere downtown. There is also Uber and Lyft in the city at minimal transportation costs. In other words, there's no need for a vehicle during your stay!

There is also a free bus system that runs downtown, and bike rentals through several companies.

PARKING
Parking is NOT included in your stay for this listing. There is available parking in nearby parking garages, but it is the guest's responsibility to plan accordingly.

PETS
This apartment has a $100 fee per pet per reservation. You must pay this fee beforehand in order to check-in. This fee covers the cost of a deeper clean post-checkout as well as the welcome basket upon arrival — in other words, it helps us keep this a happy and clean home for all our guests! It also helps us make any small repairs from pet damage!

CLEANING FEE
Our cleaning fee covers the cost of linens, cleaning and amenities.

EARLY CHECK-IN
Guests are always welcome to drop off bags on the porch early for free. Early check-ins are available based on Host’s availability and permission for an additional fee. Guests can check in at 2:00 for $50 for 1:00 for $100. Early check-ins are an additional responsibility and inconvenience on our end, so no early check-ins without the fee.

Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds.

    The unit was in an easy to find location. Our unit was upstairs in the house.It is an older home, so the floors and walls have old charm. However, there is very little insulation for sound, which is unfortunate since there is a very active late night club next door, which means there are loud music and people outside until very early hours. This must be expected because they even provided earplugs on the nightstands.After first entering the unit, we were greeted by a very stained and harsh looking carpet in the living room area. I let the owner know immediately. I received an apology and explanation, but no offer of a cost reduction. No repair either.A day later I let the owner know the toilet needed attention since the internal mechanism is not closing, causing the water to run constantly, which would likely cost them a high water bill. Being a host myself I let them know it needed a replacement flapper. Nothing happened. No repair.Through the 5 night stay we noticed a foul odor in the shower and the tub was not draining. Finally, my wife investigated and found a disgusting amount of hair and gunk in the drain. I doubt it has ever been cleaned. It’s clean now! I let the owner know. This time no response at all.I notified VRBO but they said they would not help at all.So, we had a 5 night stay in a loud and dirty unit for over 2,200 and no recognition or offer of refund at any level. This was a VERY disappointing experience, from both the owner and VRBO.

    The host is more than accommodating! The property is up two flights of stairs, so be prepared to get your steps in! The amenities are totally adequate for a stay with intention of taking advantage of all that Charleston has to offer. If your plan is to do lots of cooking, this is not the kitchen for you. But the place is comfortable and sweet. There is NO parking, so it is also not the place for you if you have a car. It is perfect if you will be catching the DASH, uber, Lyft, or biking to the many spots of interest that Charleston offers…We enjoyed our stay March 2025.

    Property and location were great! Within walking distance of alot of great shops and restaurants. Only draw back was the noise, not sure if it was the neighbors or coming from King st. But it went on into the early hours of the morning.

    The apartment was great—just as advertised. You cannot beat the location, steps to King Street. The owner was so accommodating—I had mistakenly booked the wrong dates and he worked with me to fix the situation. Above and beyond anything I expected.
