Location is wonderful

We arrived early and were able to check in the property manager was great!

Wonderful time! Great place and host.

The unit was very close to the beach, walking distance to central avenue. Very clean. Minor issues were the outside cooking and eating area was right next to the road, and the kitchen lacked normal supplies that other places we have stayed had as standard.

It was a safe location. Very clean. Easy to access

The apartment was perfect for the three of us and our pups. Very clean and across the street from the beach.

The location great less than a block from beach access. The living space is dated and did not have much to it other than a place to sit and beds to sleep. Also had some ants. But if you want a place to lay your head at night and the rest of the time at the beach this would be a okay place for you..

Great location to the beach

The property was just as described, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed. King bed was very comfortable. Location is great as you are away from the hustle of the restaurant area and less than 100 yards from the beach. Towels and beach chairs are provided so leave yours at home. Thanks for a very relaxing stay!

Great location. We walked everywhere. The kitchen was well stocked. Comfy beds. Alicia responded quickly to my emails. I would definitely go back.

Very cute apartment right near the beach. Everything was clean and in good shape. Parking was very organized and everything was well thought/planned out.

The location was perfect for us and the price was too. Just steps to the beach. The house is older but has had a lot of nice updates. It was convenient having beach chairs and beach towels too. It was about a mile walk to the Main Street but we enjoyed the walk several times during our stay. We would stay here again!

I booked this for a girls weekend, and the property was perfect. We each had a place to sleep, and we were able to do beach box every morning. There is a lot to do in town and we plan on visiting this area again. The host was super helpful in all of her communications. 5 stars all around!

Great location with a short walk to the beach but some distance from the busy Central Ave area. Easy check in and check out, and everything was as described and expected.

My wife and I slept downstairs and are accustomed to white noise. Guests not used to constant noise may find the noise made by the unit’s return fan (near the doorway into the kitchen) undesirable.

Great beach access. Walkable to main area of folly but it is about a mile so depends on your idea of walkable. The place was very clean and nice!

This really was a jewel at Folly! Incredible location for the perfect accommodation for our moms and kids beach trip. Somehow this sweet little place didn’t feel little at all to us and it was comfortably stocked. Host was close on hand if we ever needed anything (we didn’t but it was good to know!). We’re already dreaming about our next stay at the Jewel!

We have stayed here for several years now, everything is always perfect during our stay!

The house was a good size for a family of four and in perfect proximity to the beach. It was well stocked with kitchen essentials and we were able to cook several meals, saving quite a bit of money. Parking was a little frustrating at times. While you have a dedicated off street parking spot, there were times when someone blocked us in or out. The public parking right out the front door was also inconvenient at times but really wasn't a big deal. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would stay here again if we returned.

What a perfect spot for a quick beach get-away! It is right across the street from a public access. As a rare bonus, they also have beach chairs and towels for guests! The host was EXTREMELY responsive and accommodating. One of the ACs went out early morning and by that afternoon it was replaced! Awesome little spot!

As usual our stay was fantastic. Love this house! It was our 7th year!

Beds were very comfortable; wish there had been a toilet/sink downstairs; Easy to get to the beach, return, rinse off; great grill; plenty of towels/washcloths; nice kitchen and table; good wi-fi; quiet place; highly recommended.

We brought our 14 year old granddaughter here. She wanted to learn to surf, learn some history and zip line. We did all plus more. We all love the ocean and walked piut our door, crossed the street and there it was. Great location. Everythng was clean and very nice. We had what we needed in the kitchen and plenty of towels and great beds. Hostesses was great and got back to us very quickly on questions we had. Great way to.experience Charleston and Folly Beach.

Great place to stay, close to beach and had whatever needed. Pull out needs a new mattress but overall great! We’d stay again!

This unit is literally across the street from the 7th street access, which can't be beat. It was clean, dog friendly, and affordable. The owner, Alicia, was incredibly responsive and friendly.

Nice location to beach and super helpful owner!

Myself and my two young adult children stayed at the Folly Jewel for three nights. It was fantastic! For me it was the perfect combination of proximity to the beach (about 600 steps from the unit to the ocean water) and cost. There is guarenteed parking. The beautiful ocean cottage decorated unit is nice and clean. It is an older building, but the window ac units kept it comfortable and it is well maintained. I love the location, close to ocean and easy walking to all the fun of the Folly Beach area. When you get back, I love the outdoor shower for cleaning off sand. The host was perfect combination of letting you know she was available and responsive to any requests, yet let us have out fun. If I ever get back to Folly beach, I will definately look this place up again.

My daughter graduated from college and we came down to visit my son for the weekend. Wonderful spot right next to the beach. Owner extremely accommodating and made our stay wonderful. I will definitely rent this place again! Thank you

This house was very close to the beach and the property manager was quick to respond with any issues. The place was very clean and the outdoor shower was great to was the sand off after a day at the beach!

Our host was fantastic! She was always in communication and easy to reach when I had difficulty getting into the house and proper apt #. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed, with plenty of towels, beach equipment, and kitchenware.My only reason for the 4 star on location was being our first time, it was a bit of a hike to get to food and shopping. Next time I think we'll rent bikes to get around quicker, but the beach access was AMAZING! Literally right on it, was really nice just being 1 street over. Will definitely come back and would love to stay again at this home in Folly Beach!

Me and the 2 girlfriends came down for a quick weekend trip. We had a great trip. The apartment was so close to the beach and the local strip with shops and restaurants. It’s a smaller apartment but fit us just fine :)

The unit was a short one minute walk to the beach and had everything we needed. Even though the unit is on the older side it was very clean, comfortable and dog friendly! The outside patio area is very close to the street but I don’t think much could be done about that due to the amount of available space. A couple of minor issues came up with the stove and WiFi but were promptly addressed by Alicia. We really enjoyed our three week stay and would love to come back.

We stayed two weeks with our dogs and loved that we were steps away from the beach. The townhouse has a fully equipped kitchen to cook every meal, which we did. The pantry was great to stock up and not have to use cabinet space. The townhouse was very clean. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for an extended stay. We bumped into the staff a few times and everyone was very nice and friendly.The dog bark is close by to allow some off leash time. Our dogs had a blast and it was nice to see that other pet owners cleaned up after their pets. The only drawback was that the walls are thin and the road, Ashley Drive, is very noisy. Public beach access parking is across the street so on the weekends you hear a lot of cars/people. While we wouldn’t stay at this particular location again, we plan on their Coastal Charm private house location.

The outside could have been better groomed. Window Air conditioners were too loud and out dated. The AC in the living area did not cool the down stairs

Couldn’t have been happier to kick back in folly for a week at this chill spot!

This is a great little property right by the beach. The location is perfect, and the unit itself is cozy. It's not fancy or deluxe, but it's clean and comfortable, and it has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful beach getaway. One little quirk worth noting: the unit has window AC and space heaters (we found it very comfortable during both hot days and cool nights), but it also has vents. What it doesn't have is a thermostat. That's in one of the adjacent units. So, you will occasionally experience air that you can't control blowing through those vents. It wasn't much of a problem for us, although the vent over the king bed was a little annoying one night, but it's worth noting. All in all, would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in this very clean and well appointed townhouse just a five minute walk to the beach. Also, a 10 minute walk to the dog park and pickleball courts. The rental process was easy. Will come again and have already shared Chastain’s Cottages with friends and family!

This was a very nice place. Very convenient to the beach. Very clean and up to date. I love that beach towels and chairs are included. Not having to bring them helps so much.

This place worked out perfect for me and my spouse, his sister, and our dog! The beach access was super close and it was so nice to take a very quick stroll over. There were even beach chairs and towels for us to use which made it even more convenient. The host was very sweet and accommodating!! We’d definitely book again!

We visit Charleston/Folly Beach at least once a year. We had a great time and this place was perfect for a small family or small group of friends. Extremely close to the beach and amenities included were perfect.

Fabulous stay in classic beach cottage steps from the beach. Boys could walk to surf camp. Clean and fresh. Bedrooms and bath are up a narrow set of stairs . Plan to book again next summer.

Alicia's rental is so inviting, clean, and right across the street from the beach. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and a pleasure to talk to. I would definitely go back and stay at one of her rentals again!
