Superb beachfront apartment

Apartment was beautiful, very spacious, clean and well equipped. Expedia specified the apartment in sousse whereas it is actually located in hammam Sousse. The description of beach front is not true, however it it is a short walk away.

Never been in the place. On the day before check in; The owner never send a follow up email or instruction as was directed by the initial confirmation payment email that a follow up email or instruction will follow before check in day. I had no information where to go or who to meet locally or whom to contact locally. The contact number is in Paris.. The Communication was very poor and had to call long distance or when wi-fi is available to reach the contact person. I had to call Expedia and try to contact the contact person in Paris. Finally angrily the owner was told me that I have no reservation and he does not deal with Expedia. Called Expedia to inform them with our conversations and to cancel and get my refund for something that does not seem I am getting or exist. Then when i had wi-fi internet connection I found an email of the location and address at the same day of check in and after check in time. It was too late for us and made other plans. Note that the place is 2 hours away from where we landed and trying to arrange another transportation to take to Souse which I also cancelled. After this havoc tried to call the owner and was trying to compromise on half of the refund. I refused. Dishonest, irresponsible for his mistake and nonprofessional. Only book through hotels. I will never book private properties in Tunis.

We liked the location of the property near the beach and shops to purchase items. It is also a large space and the rooftop area is quite nice. The property was also very clean. We ran into a few issues during our stay that I think are worth mentioning. The property has three room based air conditioners. This means that two of the bedrooms have air conditioning but one does not. Additionally one of the air conditioners in a bedroom was not working during our stay. As such two of the three bedrooms were quite hot during our stay. The internet password we were sent via email was incorrect and we had to look at the wifi router to figure out what the actual password was. For both of the above our hosts were responsive in terms of communication but were unable to solve the air conditioning issue during our one night stay. We also ran into a couple of things that were suboptimal from our standpoint. 1. No towels were included at the property. Looking at the listing this was not listed as included, so probably an oversight on my part but we weren't ready for it. 2. The pillows were very hard. So much so that a number of us didn't use them. 3. The shower/bathtub listing is confusing. There is a single deep bathtub at the property, but there is no plug so you can't use it as a bathtub. The tub has a hand held shower wand which is the only available shower option and there is no shower curtain around the tub.

Everything about the stay was fantastic. Sabiha is a great host and the house exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this listing.

Thanks soo much for making us feel soo welcome.The owner always ready to help,and give advise.Appartment very compact but offers everything we needed.We where travelling with two boys 4,5 and 1,5 soo all together 4 people.Close to the beach ,shops,restaurants.We had amaizing time.I will recommend to friend and if we come back to Tunisia we will definitely stay there again . definitely

It was such great place to stay in, Ines place is wonderful and it exactly as the pictures, the apartment is in the heart of the sousse where almost everything is walking distance. New building, looking very good, Even though i didn't meet Ines but she was very helpful and understanding for misunderstanding from my side on the booking. Truly lovely place to stay in and totally recommend it.
