A gorgeous, very spacious penthouse apartment sleeping up to 5, with three bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms on the top (5th) floor of a modern building which benefits from a lift and FREE private & secure off-street parking.

The apartment has a huge open-plan lounge, kitchen & dining area, plus two sunny balconies with panoramic views across Edinburgh's rooftops. The lounge has comfortable seating and a TV, the dining area seats six and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a washing machine and dryer. There's also a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, etc.

There are three bedrooms, sleeping five in total:
Bedroom 1 - UK King sized bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with both bath and separate shower, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage and access onto a sunny balcony with bistro table and chairs.
Bedroom 2 - UK King sized bed, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage and an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 3 - A cosy room with a small double bed (120cm), its own shower room (not en-suite) and access to a sunny balcony.

All bedlinen and towels are provided. All bedrooms have hairdryers. Free WiFi is also available.

The apartment is very centrally located on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town, a short walk from the city centre and all its attractions. The bustle of Leith Walk is at the top of the street (5 minutes walk) and the Playhouse Theatre, St James Shopping Centre and Princes Street (Edinburgh's main shopping street) are less than 15 minutes walk.

Leith Walk provides bus links to most parts of Edinburgh. Waverley Railway Station and St Andrews Bus Station are both less than 20 minutes walk away.

There are two small supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the flat and Broughton Street, with its eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants and bars is an easy 10 minute walk.

    As noted in my review, this is a very nice penthouse in a nice location. We were 5 adults and the 3 bathrooms definitely were a plus. The owner was soooo helpful to us both arriving and leaving. Her pamphlet in the flat was also full of useful information. I will stay here next time my family is in Edinburgh. P Sundermier, Salem, Oregon

    The penthouse is charming, comfortable and convenient. The queen sized beds were just fine, and the kitchen was very well appointed. The elevator was a must for us older types who wouldnt have been able to carry our luggage up that far. There is so much to see and do, three days were not enough. We may have to return!

    This was a wonderful property for us to decompress after a hectic couple of weeks of touring the wonders on Northern Scotland. We did spend two nights in the crowded chaotic Edinburgh town centre and it was so nice to get to this spacious apartment, close to all necessary amenities but with out the crowds. I felt sorry for the people below us, as even tho we tried to be quiet, the floors were pretty squeaky!

    This was a really nice apartment. Plenty of space and nice for a group of friends travelling together. The kitchen was well supplied. There is an elevator, but there is a 1/3 of a flight of stairs down to it. The location is a little far from most of the tourist attractions, but it worked well for us.

    Excellent location close to the tram line with easy access to all of Edinburgh’s highlights. Great views from the balcony for a relaxing glass of wine at the end of the day and some lovely personal touches from the host such as a nice box of shortbread on arrival. Looking forward to the next visit!

    The apartment was perfect for our party of five. Two of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Our son used the third bathroom in the hall. The living room is very comfortable for a larger group as well. There’s no shortage of dining options nearby. We enjoyed Edinburgh Street Food (basically a food hall) and the Brass Monkey. A little further away but still walkable, we found Di Giorgio, an Italian cafe. Great breakfast and friendly ambiance. The penthouse is also within walking distance of sites like Calton Hill (visible from the balcony), the Royal Mile and Grass Market. Lastly, Fiona and her mum Diana were so friendly and welcoming. They were quick to respond to any questions and they were flexible as our plans changed due to travel delays. They even offered to meet the delivery driver to collect our lost luggage while we were en route from Aberdeen. If we return to Edinburgh, we will try to stay here again.

    So impressed with the space and views from this apartment. Fiona was very responsive to any questions we had. Restaurants and shops were a short walk. And sleeping at night was so comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend!

    Well appointed with amazing natural light throughout. Washing machine is excellent and spins clothes dryer than most actual dryers. Location is fantastic - walkable to everything. Appreciated the parking availability as well.
