Spacious apartment in restored manor house on Tavira riverfront (WiFi)

Everything was good except for the noise at the nearby cafes

We had a great holiday in Tavira. From our flat everything ( train station, old town, ferry to the beach, good restaurants ) was in walking distance. Unfortunately the music of a neighbouring bar is noisy every night.

The apartment is situated close to the river and the old center. You reach the ferry and shops and the typical small houses very easily. The bathroom has a good shower. The balcony goes to the closed court with white walls and the pool. The pool is for another apartment and you hear the pump during the day. The sleeping room has a comfortable double bed with sunshine in the morning. The kitchen has all necessary things. The weekends are a little noisy during the night, because you hear the parties in the corner.

The apartment was spacious and modern and right next to the Ferry to the island which was beautiful. The check in and out process was without hassle and very easy to get in touch with people who were to hand if needed. A very much needed stay in the sun for my daughters and I. Beautiful Tavira. The location is fabulous, the size is adequate for two people, kitchen was good size for cooking, wifi is also good. There are a lot of things to do in Tavira, but it's relaxed. We walked to everywhere for most sights. Definitely will recommend to others

The apartment is in Tavira’s top location near restaurants and the quay for the ferry to the beach. Free car parking is 150 metres away. Private little courtyard balcony but no river view. Slightly marred by the gurgling noise that wakes us up at 6am by the small swimming pool attached to the flat downstairs. WiFi works but not very strong.

Staying at this location was lovely! We were welcomed by Caterina, who was so nice and helpful. The apartment was very well equipped and clean. We really enjoyed our visit.

I booked this property on the basis of reviews submitted by previous occupants. I was looking for a clean and well maintained property near the centre of Tavira with an outlook over the river. The description of the apartment reads ' the apartment is the perfect place to sit and watch the activity on the quayside ', This however does not apply to apartment 112 which we were allocated and which only has views of a courtyard and a swimming pool, which is for the sole use of the occupants of the ground floor flat. I have no doubt that the other apartments in the building have a river view as described but we were not as fortunate in this regard and on that basis I would not have made this booking. This is my only complaint regarding this property. I would strongly suggest that the owner/management company reconsider the wording of the property description as regards this particular apartment (112) and the outlook from same. Otherwise the property was as described clean, well maintained and in a good location.

Apartment is very clean and comfortable. Very nice location for seeing the river and walking to the Mercado, and excellent restaurants. The cobblestone walk along the river is great for walking with your dog, or, I suppose, spouse.

We ate at a great restaurant almost next door when we stayed in the area last September so we were delighted to realise the central location just on the river front. Property is clean and tidy, allyou would need is there. Outside balcony looks down into the ground floor apartments pool and outside area so not very private, big enough for two chairs and a bistro table.
