Spacious apartment in historical centre of Tavira with views of river & WiFi

The apartment was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We had a great view of the river and access to many restaurants within 5 minute walk. Very good location and well maintained apartment. Enjoyed the rooftop patio. Good value for the money

We had a great stay. It’s spacious and in a lovely location. Yes some of it is dated as per previous reviews but it didn’t matter to us, it was clean, functional and comfy with everything you need to cook if you want.

Fabulous stay at this property! I’ve rented 6 other units in two months & the cleanliness & comfort far exceeds any other place I’ve stayed in Portugal. The location is unparalleled, the bar everyone complains about in other reviews is closed. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped. Most of all, the rental company, Happy Homes, is professional & helpful above & beyond. Catarina was my representative & so very kind! I felt like my business mattered instead of feeling like just another tourist. I’ll be back in a few months!

Perfect location, close to everything you need

We spent 8 days with a riverview in Tavera, Portugal. This apartment is spacious and clean., with the perfect location for exploring. Even has free parking! Gentle music from the bar next door each night was an added bonus. Juan and Caterina from Happy Homes were attentive hosts. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and plan on returning again next year!

Perfect location, 2 lovely restaurants and a bar right on the doorstep. Having gone the self-catering route a lot I was very impressed with how clean and well equipped (especially the kitchen) the flat was right down to cleaning products. It made for an easy stay. The shops are nearby (a lot over the bridges) so if you want a chilled time with a good selection of restaurants etc., and quick access to the beach ferry - this is the spot. Thanks for the patience of Caterina as my one feedback would be to put the full address on the form and confirmation as it is not obvious or easy to find due to one way systems/no entry etc. If you order a cab make sure they send you one with satnav. Enjoy I would recommend.

The first-floor apartment is a very spacious and functional one bedroom, one bath. The windows provide good light and, and each has a spectacular view of the river, You cannot beat the location for restaurants, bars, and markets. If you are driving, the free car park is about a 5-minute walk away. The bathroom has 2 sinks, toilet, bidet, and tub shower. The kitchen has ample (yet unmatched) dishes and cooking utensils, cook top, oven, microwave, a small refrigerator, clothes washer, tea kettle and coffee pot. The sofa and chair are not comfortable for movies or couch potatoes; however, the sofa would make a better single bed than a sofa. We stayed for a week and did laundry. Luckily there is a coin laundry for drying across the street. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Apartment in a good location. Had all the amenities required.

We were really happy with the property - all appliances including TV and Wi-Fi worked well in a spacious one bedroom apartment.The location is very central to the river, the old town, the castle and a lovely park.The main (and only) problem was that there is a bar across the little square that plays loud music at night. The bar's owner was very rude when we asked if he could turn down the music. The owner claims he has a license to operate until 1 am during the week and until 3 am on the weekends. Use earplugs to cut the thud, thud of the music that double pane windows, wooden shutters and blackout curtains can't stop.

I made the reservation in the App, the host (someone named Mary) who does the management never answered me to a message. The ladies who received us at check in were very friendly. The accommodation is very well located, but.. the accommodation could be much better due to its demand and location, the furniture is very old, the refrigerator is very small, the kitchen should be renovated, and everything in that accommodation should be renovated, it is very worn out very old. Everything smells like mold. 5-star location but 2-star accommodation because it is very worn out and has marks of it.

Lovely apartment,great area. Plenty room and equipped well. Definitely recommend.
