Stayed Apr 7, 2025I was welcomed with a goodie bag (a bottle of wine and chocolate,) much appreciated! The neighborhood was charming, perhaps gentrified and I enjoyed short walks to see the pictureresq 19th century (?) home and their pictures

Stayed Apr 18, 2025The website listing is very misleading in my opinion. The space is super small and on the backside of a house that someone lives in. The porch definitely needs a facelift-paint peeling off the porch, the patio table is weathered. The back patio door is the entrance for the apartment and it seems as if one push would be all someone needed to get in. The area is decent, but having a door that is not secure in any area is worrisome. We also had a fruit fly issue the second we got there, we thought maybe it would subside and we weren’t planning on being in the u it much, so we didn’t think a ton of it. Upon reading further reviews, other guests have had issues with fruit flys as well. There are two rather large dents in the dry wall at the base of the stairs that I took photos of because I did not want to be charged for these damages but those should probably be taken care of. The kitchen is really not large enough to cook in much less large enough for more than one person. This unit is not large enough for more than two people. The driveway is marked as tight but the parking in the back isn’t listed as tight. It’s barely enough for one car and whomever lives in the front unit parks their Porsche without regard to anyone else having to squeeze by, so much so that I damaged my own car to avoid scratching theirs. If you have accessibility issues, this is not the apartment for you, the patio stairs are not level and the stairs in the apartment are mighty steep.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025Absolutely gorgeous apartment!!! I was able to create my sisters dream bachelorette party for a small group or girls. The layout of this place is simply fantastic. The host of this property is so accommodating, communicative and caring. The home is located within .5 miles of king street in a pleasant neighborhood. We had an amazing visit to Charleston! Thank you for everything!!

Stayed Mar 20, 2025we loved the location just one block from King Street where all the action is: restaurants and shopping. The Daily little restaurant was fabulous for breakfast every day.The bathroom is down stairs that did not bother us. Step steps to the bedroom . bed was extremely convertible. I think it his a perfect place to stay to enjoy Charleston

Stayed Oct 7, 2024Everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Apartment is exactly like the pictures! Clean and comfortable. Driveway is fine for a small car and there was also parking on street available. My only recommendation would be to have a couple of plastic cups for drinks.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024Property was clean but had a fruit fly issue. We noticed them right when we entered but didnt think much of it. After going grocery shopping everything we left out on counter got infested with them. Bananas, bread, etc. They are telling the truth when it comes to the tight fit for parking. Wasn't major but what made it more difficult than it needed to be was that the person who lived in the street facing unit owned a Porsche and thought nothing of it to park it so its sticking out all the time. Like it wanted someone to come along side it and scratch it. Photos of outside table area are not accurate. Instead of the nice table in the photo its a rusted patio table that is peeling. Not huge but just misleading. If I were to do it again I would stay somewhere near the French Quarter. Although you could walk to King Street you are on the opposite end before the overpass. Was safe, just not as close as we thought. Overall it suited our purpose but won't be searching it out again for our next visit.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024Everything looked very nice except that the stair was way too hard for my husband to step since he is 80 years old. He got up in the middle of night to go to the restroom downstair. The path from the front to the back was too narrowed for me to drive through.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024The host was very good at communication. We were greeted in the parking lot and showed in to our accommodations. The place was in a great location in walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for resolving the issues and helping us out with everything.

Stayed Jul 24, 2024This was a beautiful space to explore Charleston. We had so much privacy and quiet even though the homes are very close together. A clarification on the parking: our Ford Explorer was so close to the homes pulling in we only went in and out once. Parking on the street was not a problem. Hopefully this helps in deciding what car will fit!

Stayed Jun 13, 2024We had a great time staying here! The property was very clean and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The property is in a great location. Close to the bridge to go to Sullivans island or isle of palms-which we did! In walking distance (if you are up to walking 1-2 miles) to the farmers market, city market, rainbow row, liberty square, etc. if walking is not your thing then I would definitely suggest driving. The space to pull into the driveway is very, very tight. We drive a Honda CRV. We got through but had to watch very closely. Sometimes there were trash cans and another car slightly parked over so had to be extra careful and parked on the street at one time.
