Stayed Oct 11, 2025I would have given less stars to the overall listing if possible. This was NOT a spacious and modern one bedroom apartment; it's an L-shaped nightmare (the bedroom is the first room you walk into!!!) of a space. Most of the furniture was too large for the space which made getting around a maze until we moved things around. The glass table for the living room has a partially broken leg support making us concerned about it shattering and someone getting cut. There were some pots and pans in the kitchen but no cutting knife. There was a blender BOTTOM, no top. There was salt; no other spices at all. There IS street parking but the parking rules for the area are odd (1 hour parking from 5pm to 9pm daily) which made it necessary to pay for a parking spot. Not ideal when the ONLY reason I knew about that aspect was by reading someone else's feedback. When I texted the owner about the fact that there were missing items in the kitchen that anyone would naturally expect and that there were things that need to be repaired -- the toilet seat was cracked and fixed with a piece of tape -- I was told I didn't understand the listing and that someone could be sent to fix the issues which isn't something I was interested in doing while on vacation so I didn't take up that option. I'm not a super picky person but this place was NOT what I thought it was going to be at all.

Stayed Jul 25, 2021A fun, funky, old apartment in a working-class neighborhood. A very unique location close to most downtown hotspots. Parking can be tricky on the narrow street. Apartment was well-equipped but sheets and towels were pretty worn out. Super comfortable bed but right next to a noisy entrance with lots of conversation and door slamming.

Stayed Oct 1, 2020The building and neighboring buildings were a little rundown in a neighborhood that appears to be gentrifing....parking in Portland is a challenge on a good day that I just wasn't willing to deal with, but Eddy provided a reasonable, safe alternative....not a negative but in a way between the pet fee and parking fee, it felt a little like being nickled and dimed....but overall it was worth it. Portland is getting more expensive to live/visit. I appreciate Eddy for being quick and responsive to my inquiries and for checking in via text if my stay was going okay
