Stayed Apr 24, 2025For one the property was not advertised as part of the main house or attatched. I thought it was a detached guest house or granny unit. There was a door connected the bathroom and hallway of the space we stayed in that we were told was an office, and was locked from our end. We both heard somebody in it often during our stay. Which I felt was innapropriate as there was plenty of time to get watever was needed from that space before we arrived, especially given that we checked in hrs. late. We are paying to be there. It was uncomfortable and strange for us to feel as though someone was listening to us or ? We did not feel comfortable and actually could not sleep most of our night there. Second I rented this space because the pictures of the river and bench and garden looked so beautiful and peaceful. We were unable to access the river because the bush and poison oak were so over grown. The bench was broken and falling apart. Nothing like the pictures online were advertised. Also there were dolls or like statue things all through out the garden and river area. The host couple however was very nice I am happy to have supported them, however due to the activity we could hear and feel through out the night. We would not stay again.

Stayed Sep 16, 2023Beautiful property. Hosts are good people, genuine and helpful. Amenities are from various periods, and thoughtfully curated - really made us feel at home. Enjoyed our morning stroll by the creek and through the garden.

Stayed Jan 5, 2023This was an an extremely interesting and quirky B&B hosted, primarily, by Mary, a wonderful, thoughtful lady of Eastern European origins. I love her accent, her kindness, her desire to make my stay as pleasant as possible. This B&B is unusual and quirky because Mary loves all kinds of art and displays numerous objects, prints, posters, antiques, etc. The accommodations are much like staying at a grandma's house combined with an antique shop. So if you like that you will love this, as I did. I felt loved.

Stayed Jun 28, 2022I googled the Happy Valley area from my home in Japan, looking for a place to stay while I purchase a Scout Olympic from the local camper store. Among all the hotels, motels and B&B's, Scott Creek Farm was THE PLACE that I was immediately attracted to. The beautiful posted photos on the website can't compare to my actually being there and experiencing it in person. When we arrived late at night from Portland airport , Mary told us that she had had a very sudden & rare cancellation with a bigger two bedroom/kitchen/bath unit, which actually had enough beds for five people. She very generously offered to give us that unit for the same price as the one bed unit which I had reserved. I took a 30 minute early morning walk thru the quiet forest, up and down Scott Creek, all the while marveling that I was actually in the middle of a town. My friend and his daughter roused themselves much later to be charmed by the same walk. Inside and outside are full of out-of-the-ordinary things. More than anything, the decor of the place reminded me of the home of Amélie Poulain of Montmartre; right down to the intriguing lamp on my nightstand. I keep thinking of reasons to stay overnight again in Happy Valley.

Stayed May 7, 2022Enjoyed our stay, especially the nature trail and the collection of weird and unusual objects scattered about the property. The hosts were wonderful and supplied continental breakfast. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. If you want a modern and sparse space, this is not the property for you. If you enjoy whimsy and kitsch you will be delighted. My only concern is that there was no way to lock the private entrance from either the outside or the inside. Attention to security would be helpful.
