This apartment is right on Rutledge Avenue in the back building on the property. It is easy walking distance to all places on upper King, the hub of Charleston`s top restaurants and nightlife.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and utensils. There`s also plenty of counter and cabinet space for all your cooking needs.

The 2 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for you and your guests to spread out. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and features comfortable beds, ample storage space, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property or in areas where smoke may linger, such as porches or balconies.
Property Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage to walls or property caused by hanging decorations or other actions.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Firearms Prohibited: Firearms are not allowed on the property. Any firearm found will be considered abandoned and handled accordingly.

Location Disclosure:
Charleston is a vibrant, growing city, and guests may experience typical urban sounds, including traffic, nearby restaurants, bars, or general street noise. Construction noise may also occur in the area. While we strive to inform guests of potential disruptions, we may not always have advance notice of such activities.

Check in is at 4pm and checkout is 11am. Unfortunately we can not accommodate early checkins or late checkouts.
Abide by the checkout instructions. All trash will need to go to the bins by the time you checkout.
Charleston does have quite a few bugs, we have a professional pest control company service the house every month. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, keep doors/windows closed, food wrapped and store it in the refrigerator.

    Just slightly north of the more “fancy” area in Charleston; we actually preferred that. The property was quiet, private and relaxing. But you don’t have to drive to experience some nice scenery and food options if you don’t want to.

    Great, though the neighborhood and outside environment was not pleasant, the interior was excellent. We found cockroaches in the bedroom and kitchen. The cooking appliances were a bit small and we had to buy some 2 more. Otherwise everything else was great! Keep it up!

    We really enjoyed our stay. Super comfortable beds and bedrooms were very sound insulated. There’s a great fenced in yard for the dog to run. Walking distance to restaurants. Super easy check in and out. We would absolutely stay here again!

    Incredible stay! House was super clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Easy walk to restaurants and parks. We drove to Shem creek every night for dinner and views and it was a quick drive. Added on an extra night because of how much we loved it. Will definitely stay here again!

    Thoroughly enjoyed Charlston and my stay here. My friend I walked a lot and it was good to have our own place to crash in when we ended the day. Nice place....Would definitely stay there again.

    We loved our stay at Rutledge! My 1.5 year old was having a procedure at MUSC and we wanted to make a little family trip of it. I'm so glad we found this listing and it was available for our dates ! It was me , my husband, 4 year old, 1.5 year old and 2 dogs. The unit was a nice size for us bc we had space but weren't worried about kids getting into everything. It would have been tight if another family joined, but was a great size for us. Everything was very clean and orderly. We had everything we needed and it was simple to find. The backyard was gorgeous! We didn't spend much time other than playing with the dogs, but would be a nice place to eat dinner, etc. Location was amazing. So much within walking distance and the neighborhood is so cute. Parking was tight, but like another review said we just unloaded first then were good to go. just having somewhere to park was a plus so we didn't mind. We will definitely be staying here again and have already recommended to friends !

    Great spot blocks from King street. We walked to nearby restaurants and was really a great spot to be. Listing as described. Parking spot is narrow and tight, so be prepared for that ?

    The property is very nice and looks exactly like the pictures. The renovations were nicely done and it was in a perfect location. The parking for Unit B was very narrow. We unloaded before pulling in the parking space. Great place to stay!
