Attached to a large home in a wooded residential area, this sweet apartment has all you’ll need for a wonderful stay, including exceptional outdoor spaces with seating, dining, a firepit, and a hot tub. Perfect for a couple, with a queen sofa sleeper for additional guests, this one-bedroom home isupdated and spacious. The living room has comfortable seating and a TV, and a dining table lets you relax with meals from the well-equipped kitchenette (it doesn’t have an oven or dishwasher, but a full-size refrigerator and microwave are perfect for snacks, take-out, and simple meals). The pretty queen bedroom has a TV and adjoins a full bath.

A magnificent covered deck lets you drink and dine outdoors in style at a built-in dining bar and gazebo. Cushioned seating gives you an outdoor living room, complete with a hot tub for soaking under the stars. Climb down the stairs to the home to a sitting wall and fire-pit for another level of fun. Bring your furry friends but only dogs are allowed and they must be 50lbs or smaller.

Your excellent location puts you minutes away from the many pocket beaches and off-shore features of Seal Rock, where you’ll delight in incredible rock formations, seabirds, and fantastic ocean views. You’ll be 15 minutes from the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and the historic bayfront of Newport. Head south for breathtaking views of the ocean from high coastal cliffs, paired with coastal towns with great restaurants and interesting shops, all the way to Heceta Lighthouse, Sea Lion Caves and Florence. At the end of the day, you’ll return to your Sunset Hideaway to relax in the hot tub and reminisce about your coastal adventures.

Solar Battery Backup System:
Due to its remote location, the home does experience occasional electrical shortages. The Sunset Hideaway is equipped with a whole-home battery backup system. This solar-powered system can keep essential comfort features running during power outages. Comfort systems include HVAC, media and charging stations, kitchenette appliances, refrigerator, hot water, and sewer function. A seamless and comfortable experience no matter the weather. Please note: the hot tub’s heating and jets are not supported during outages. Due to its location, even with this backup system the home can experience some spotty Wi-Fi service and temporary lighting issues.

*Please Note: There are long-term renters above this one-bedroom apartment. Please do not trespass in the long-term renters' area or walk dogs around the loop. Please respect the privacy of the long-term rental area and don't go past the No Trespassing sign. Sunset Hideaway has a private lower parking area with two dedicated spots in front of the Meredith Lodging sign. There is no parking or blocking on the 'private driveway', and no turnaround. There is only room for two vehicles to park, and no nearby street parking.

Do not use the parking upstairs in front of the garage. This is reserved for long-term renters and you will be at risk of getting towed. There is no on-street parking as Crane St. and Crane Ct. are both single-lane gravel roads. There is a 'no parking at any time' fire department turnaround that looks like parking but is a tow-away zone. Please drive slowly.
