Riva Sea View Apartment by Wonderful Italy

Our stay was amazing, location was perfect, our room was very spacious and clean.We had 4 balcony’s with the best view.Will definitely return.

The apartment is well appointed and in a great location. We had a car which ended up working out for parking. The apartment was very clean, looked just like the pictures and the team is very responsive. We loved being on the edge of Ortigia and felt it was close to everything. Was a lovely place to come home to each day. Note the apartment is on the 2nd floor, which is the 3rd floor by North American counting so fair number of stairs but easy.

The host was helpful and responsive to our requests. Surprised by the limited amenities at the property such as only one set of bath towels for each person for a 5-night stay, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 guests for a 5-night stay. We were denied any request for towel change or additional toilet papers. Most unusual in our experience with B&B or self catering properties in Europe.

Location was excellent to walk to everything and great view of the water. The room was a good size but no lock box so be prepared to meet with someone to check in and out, you should ask for an extra set of keys then , my wife and I did different things some days and very difficult with one key to get back in and power the apartment. With only one set of keys.

The apartment was very nice and beautiful! There is not a good explanation of where to park and how to get your luggage to the apartment though…that part was very frustrating and needs improvement. If they would have given better parking instructions rather than just addresses (one of the locations just led to a gated off area) it would have been better…also arranging for a taxi or something to transfer luggage is needed.

A wonderful corner apartment with huge windows that allowed the sun to shine in all day. Very clean unit. Located just inside Ortigia so easy to access upon arrival with a car.

This was a large apartment, so after a couple of months of travel it gave us some room to stretch out, relax and clean our gear. It sort of felt grand. Perfectly located with a great view and the large windows providing beautiful ventilation. Easy to get to and access. Although the people you talk to and the messages you write don’t necessarily seem to link, we had no problems with arrival or departure.

Perfect location! Right in the middle of everything. Very clean and modern. Enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I had an amazing time at this beautiful apartment . Perfect location with walking distance to where all the action is . We will definitely be back next year . Our best VRBO stay ever . Highly recommend

After being worried about the property not having many reviews, we were pleased that the property was as per the images. The check-in process was very smooth as we communicated with the property managers, Wonderful Italy, by WhatsApp, and met at the apartment. A few small improvements would elevate the experience: more dishwasher tablets because I think the previous people ran the dishwasher without tablets, so some dishes in the cupboard weren't very clean. Dishwashing liquid was supplied. More of a previous guest issue. The wi-fi was ok the first night, and then almost inoperable thereafter, so the advertised smart working wasn't possible. Needs to be sorted. Good washing machine. No detergent supplied, so we left some for subsequent guests. The double glazing and air-conditioning work really well, so the apartment is really quiet on the second floor. Very spacious. Plenty of crockery and cutlery for a couple cooking simple meals. A couple of larger knives would be useful. Great location, close to the market and other shops. Very enjoyable.
