Stayed Sep 5, 2024The room was spacious and the deck was private and in a quiet neighborhood. The mini fridge held all our hiking food. Loved the bathroom and granite shower. It was very convenient having a washer and dryer for our hiking clothes. Very close to West Glacier entrance and to the town of Columbia Falls for dining options. I highly recommend Vaqueros and Gunsight Saloon for dinner.

Stayed Aug 20, 2023Did not expect someone living there. Details should have been more clear. When saying if need help be nearby. Didn’t expect someone living above us. Details should have been clearer. When taking pics of house should specify you will be downstairs and not show a picture of the cabin. I rate this as false advertising. The host was very nice but didn’t expect him to be living there with us. We left early on account of that; it was waste of money. Should have been in description. Very uncomfortable with just a barricade going from out downstairs area to his living space. Should not show front of cabin when we are in basement or downstairs area. We wanted to sit on the porch and relax but, felt it was very uncomfortable situation. We would never have booked there knowing this. Better description would have been warranted. I’d recommend the ad say below main house with owner there or something to make ppl be aware.

Stayed Oct 5, 2025We enjoyed our stay in this rustic one room cabin. The cabin was as described, it is the lower level of a cabin in which the owner lives above. The owner Jeff greeted us upon checking in, he notified us in advance of how to access the place, with very detailed directions in the area. So it was easy to find. There is also a separate bathroom, which is good size with a walk-in shower and access to the laundry room with the washer and dryer if needed as well. There is a nice size deck that leads out to the backyard with a sitting area And it’s very quiet wooded area. It is conveniently located near the West entrance of glacier park, less than 15 minute drive to the entrance. There is a grocery store right around the corner, it’s about 20 to 25 minutes from Kalispell airport. So it’s a very central location. Jeff is very knowledgeable about the area having lived there for over 40 years, and he made some good recommendations on where to go in the park and also a very scenic drive for us to take in the area. He was also very kind and offered us the use of his bear spray so that we did not have to go by our own. Very important to have in this neck of the woods! The cabin is very rustic, but clean and quiet and had everything we needed. There is a coffee maker, a dorm size refrigerator with separate freezer and a microwave. There are a few microwave plates and coffee mugs, and plastic utensils to use as needed We were happy with our stay and appreciated our hospitable host!

Stayed Sep 14, 2025We appreciated the location. Close to Glacier entrance and restaurants in town. Jeff was an available, attentive host. Note: this room is in the basement of a cabin-like home and involves steps down to the entrance. It was clean, and well equipped, but a little too rustic for us.

Stayed Aug 13, 2025Jeff was a wonderful host. His knowledge of the area in and around Glacier National Park was unparalleled and added so much to my exploration and the deep understanding I gained about Montana, its history, flora and fauna. I am already looking forward to returning in the not too distant future. I highly recommend this property for a quiet, comfortable stay, just a short drive from the west entrance to Glacier Park, and not far from Colombia Falls and Whitefish.

Stayed Jun 24, 2025Jeff was a great host. I was there for a week taking care of family business in the area and attending a family memorial. Comfortable bed, lots of closet space, walk in closet with a dresser if you need to use. Large walk down into granite shower. Use of a full size washer and dryer. Located in a quiet area.

Stayed Jul 16, 2024Our stay was great. Host was extremely accommodating and available. Host has upstairs apartment, we never once heard him or had our privacy invaded in any way. Location is very close to the park, only complaint about area is food options are limited and most close at 8pm ( which had nothing to do to with his place).
