Stayed Aug 4, 2023Lovely property. The house fit us perfectly for what we needed. We had our two adult daughters with us, so the two twin beds in second bedroom were perfect. It was also close to the Shenandoah NP which we visited both days. There was a grocery store and places to eat not far up the road. If we were ever in the area again we would certainly stay here.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful area. Secluded (you cross 3 cattle guards). Carriage house upper level, so it is up stairs. Nice unit, bit of a hike to Charlottesville (35-40 minutes). Try the nearby Lafayette Hotel for Sunday brunch.

We were a super quick commute to Shenandoah National Park, lots of places to eat and so many beautiful wineries. We would love to stay again!!

Stayed Oct 14, 2025Enjoyed our stay. Excellent correspondence with owner and property manager. Beautiful area with beautiful weather.Well water tastes great. Comfortable beds. Firepit ouside. Kitchen was enjoyed by all. Keurig with lots of available pods. Very quiet, aside from natures wonderful sound of cows mooing, birds chirping, deer barks, and squirrels chatter.Visited by deer and squirrel.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home.

Stayed May 9, 2025Awesome overnight trip with my boys for a mountain bike race. Very close to Blue Ridge school which was our race sight. Apartment is very cute, well equipped with everything. Beds were very comfy. I so appreciated the complimentary laundry soap that I forgot to bring. Will be back!!

Any issues we had the property manager and owner were quick to respond. They’re very kind. The place was very clean and provided us with enough amenities for a long weekend.
