My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Perugino apartment. Although there was just the two of us, there was plenty of room for two more guests. Natalia was very helpful checking us in and out. And the lovely little hilltop town of Montefalco is a gem, we are pleased we chose to stay here. The people are so friendly, the surrounding countryside is beautiful, the wine divine and it is very close to a number of other small hilltop villages well worth exploring as well. The apartment kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking local produce purchased in the near by markets some nights. There are great options for dining out as well, only a few steps away at that. We particularly enjoyed our meal at L'Alchimista and would highly recommend eating here. It was a treat to have the garden area to laze in the sun with local snacks and wine for Happy Hour and we were very grateful to have the pool to cool off in every afternoon. All this within the walls of a super quaint medieval village. What more could you ask for. Thank you Micaela and Francesco for sharing your apartment and gorgeous village with us. We would love to return one day.

Our stay in Montefalco was the highlight of our summer. The charming antique apartment - beautifully updated and ideally located - was a pleasure to come home to each evening after exploring Umbrian towns. We enjoyed breakfasts and snacks poolside and the green courtyard was so peaceful. Our kids loved swimming and meeting the other children. Montefalco itself is so lovely: friendly and clean and we lucked into the local festival with events on each night. Sagrantino DOCG was a wonderful discovery as well. We truly hope to be back!

We really really enjoyed a phantastic vacation in a beautiful atmosphere. The apartment is built and decorated so lovely and so is Montefalco. I feel sorry that I don't talk Italian because the people we met were very friendly. We visited several towns arround Montefalco and Perugia, Assisi, Rome (within one day) and Civitanova Marche (Adria). Rome and Adria are 150km far and both are no problem to visit within one day. In Montefalco you have to try local dishes (e.g. at Il Verziere) and - of cource - the Sagrantino (local red wine)! Please enjoy! Andreas.
