This two-bedroom penthouse is located on the western Costa del Sol near Sotogrande. This section of the Costa between Gibraltar and Estepona is not only a little less hectic than the section between Malaga and Marbella, it is also a few degrees cooler in high summer (though still warm enough for summer).
From the balcony and roof terrace, you have a breathtaking view over Gibraltar to Africa – on clear days, you can see far into the Atlas Mountains.
The penthouse has luxurious amenities: a fully equipped kitchen with high-quality cookware, a large 4K smart TV with Xbox, high-speed internet, comfortable beds with high-quality mattresses (Bed-1 mattresses with two degrees of firmness in the single beds), a 4-burner gas grill, and more. This is not just a place to stay between rounds of golf, excursions or beach visits, it is a place to relax and enjoy yourself, for a relaxing holiday.
A fitness studio with treadmill, ergometer, stepper and weight machines as well as a 20-metre pool are at your disposal. Please note: the pool does not have a non-swimmer area.

The beach is within walking distance, but a car is essential for a holiday in this flat.
The flat is located almost exactly halfway between the Valderrama and Finca Cortesin golf courses, 3 kilometres outside Sotogrande. It is the ideal base for excursions to the region's attractions, from the Picasso Museum in Malaga to the famous mountain village of Ronda and the southernmost town on mainland Europe: Tarifa. Seville, Cadiz and Jerez are all within 60 to 90 minutes' drive. Spain's most famous golf courses are all within a 20-minute drive.

    The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, and very well furnished and equipped. Everything that we wanted, or reasonably could have wanted was already in the apartment. The apartment benefits from being on the hillside about 1km inland from the main coast road, so is relatively quiet and peaceful and has fabulous, panoramic views of the sea, Gibraltar, and across to Africa. When we checked in the lady who handed over the keys gave us a comprehensive guide to local supermarkets and places to eat which was super helpful. One word if advice would be that you really must have a car because there are no facilities within walking distance. If returning to the area, we would definitely stay here again if it’s available.

    Views are amazing from this penthouse apartment. Overall I rated this property a 4 out of 5. Good location although it requires a car to get around. My only complaint is the accuracy of the listing as the bed is not a king size as was indicated in the listing. Communication was easy with Maggie the property manager.

    We had a lovely time staying in this bedroom home on the hilltops of Manilva overlooking Gibraltar. About a 5 minute drive to the closest beachfront that was smaller, quieter, and more off the “beaten-track” than San Luis de Sabillinas. It was a quiet place to stay where it got comfortably cooler in the evenings. I was able to connect with Mel, Felix, Maggie, and Cary who assisted with locals shops and things going on locally. Everything was easy to use in the home and all items provided. I would recommend a car, if able as the hills are steep from the coast and so you can go to restaurants and the supermarket.
