One Bedroom Suite on 1.5 Acres in Wine Country

The Host (Lynn) was very helpful in identifying go-to locations such as wineries, restaurants, and local hotspots in the Willamette Valley area. The location is perfect for relaxing and was very clean and quiet. The property borders a wooded area and had a nice patio (with firepit) for winding down from a day's activities. We will definitely stay at Lynn's residence when back in the OR wine country.

I will be there until Feb 26th at least. Melodee and Evonne are amazing! I work nights and they always have coffee ready for me in the mornings. Such sweet ladies! We will be coming back this summer! Love these ladies!

This property is an excellent value. Suite is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Hostess is friendly, but not obtrusive. Communications were excellent. We enjoyed views of woods. We would definitely come back to stay again.

Property was at the end of the main downtown district. We had a lovely view of the wooded property. Lynn the owner was very nice and responsive. There were stairs and there was no TV in the main room. The WiFi was okay, but needs to be upgraded for faster speeds. WiFi would drop off periodically.

Cozy

Super comfortable bed and pillows (better than my own). Yummy gourmet popcorn and other snacks and cold water and a couple of sodas in the refrigerator on arrival. Abby (tiny, quiet dog) the official greater was friendly and adorable. Lynn was super nice and a joy to talk to. Nothing poor to report about our stay.

My favorite part was how peaceful and quiet it is. The bedroom was a real sanctuary.... we slept like babies. Hassle free parking and Lynn is a wonderful host.

A true home from home experience. Convenient location and quiet setting.

The is a lovely property, you will enjoy sitting outside your room after your travels to take in the surroundings, and the owner and her dog are lovely. Improvements: This place could be really great with a little tender loving design, it needs fresh flooring and bed covers, what is there makes things look old; the internet needs a speed boost; and lastly the mattress needs to be replaced both of us found we had our individual aches from sleeping on it. Stay there as the location is also great, the above is really just suggestions on how to make this place fantastic, not just good.

This one bedroom suite has everything. It has a nice sitting/dining room area complete with all the essentials. Lynn has thought of every need and the suite is furnished beautifully and very accommodating. We are definitely returning!

Lynn is an amazing host. We arrived she came out to meet us immediately and introduce us to the room and property. She also researched excursions we were looking into before our arrival. The apartment is well furnished and very comfortable. The bed and bedding was also very comfortable which is not always the case. Newberg is lovely and we would love to stay with Lynn and Abby in the future.

The property was beautiful and located perfectly for everything we wanted to do. Lynn (and Abbey) were great hosts going above and beyond to help with our plans. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I loved our five night stay at the Windrose. Lynn is an excellent hostess with thoughtful and kind ways of providing an inviting, beautiful, and comfortable stay. She provided everything we needed and more. She communicated clearly, well, and promptly at all times. Visiting with her was a pleasure as well! The apartment has easy access and is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained. It's a quiet slice of country within the city. Wonderful! We were in town to meet the parents of our daughter's boyfriend and were delighted Windrose was only minutes from their home which made traveling back and forth quick and easy. We'll certainly stay at the Windrose again! Thank you for everything, Lynn!

Great VRBO, owner was very helpful, and even loaned us a cooler to use for a day. Great location for visiting wine country destinations. Very private. Would surely return again.

Be prepared to be spoiled. We arrived to find goodies and a partially stocked refrigerator. Lynn, even made baked zucchini bread from her garden. Who does that, an excellent host who knows that even the smallest things matter! A very relaxing retreat.

My husband and I had the pleasure to stay here to attend our daughter's wedding being held at a local winery. It is just perfect! Everything was comfortable and quiet. I especially loved the extra bathroom. It came in quite handy while getting ready for the wedding. We will come back if we visit the area again.

My husband & I stayed here for a birthday weekend get away. It was super convenient to so many wineries and close to many great restaurants too. The place was perfect for the two of us. It was nice & clean & the bed was comfortable. We would love to stay again & hopefully have better weather next time so we can enjoy the beautiful grounds.

We had sold our home and needed a place to stay for a month while we prepared to move to the east coast. Windrose not only met our need but exceeded expectations. Lynn is an amazing host who made sure every need we had was taken care of. The little cottage was quiet, comfortable, and well equipped. I highly recommend Windrose if you plan on visiting this portion of Oregon wine country. You will not regret it.
