Oceanside, steps to the Beach, pets considered, cards avail, Beach Club Complex

Everything was great! Just as described. It's a compact room, but with everything needed to be comfortable when not at the beach. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and the beach itself felt remote even with all the buildings nearby. At low tide there was so much beach!! I got the resort passes but none of the facilities were pet friendly and they were quite adament about my wife not even carrying our tiny dog where pets weren't allowed. We made do. The beach itself was very pet friendly! We found a pet friendly restaurant about 10 min drive away that was great for dinners. We made one trip to the grocery store and we were set for the few days we were there for the other meals. The small full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker and stove made the rest of the meals easy. Overall great experience!

We were unable to stay at this property due to the poor conditions that we found when we arrived. There was an unpleasant odor, there were strange packets stuffed along the mattress of the bunk bed (which in my research I have learned that they could be used to deter bed bugs), we found a cockroach and another bug in the bathroom. We are very grateful that we did not bring any of our bags up to the room before inspecting. I immediately contacted the host through messaging on the VRBO account and included photos. She did not respond. I then called and left a message. She did not respond until the next morning. We had to scramble to find a hotel for the night, as we had a 13 hour drive to Fripp Island. In our communication she said that the packets along the mattress were not placed by her. She told me to cancel the reservation on VRBO and then she would push through a refund. At this point all communication from her has stopped, I have not received any updates and no refund has been issued. VRBO customer service has reached out to her several times and to this point they are reporting that she is not responding. I am very disappointed and will not be doing business with Kathy Folds or this property management company again. I will continue to work with VRBO to resolve this matter.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was perfect size for us. It was a little dated but that’s ok too. Older places always bring back the nostalgia of beach trips of the past. Kathy with the rental company was always responsive and helped us with any questions we had.

The property manager was very good at her responses to us, especially on the day of arrival when the major sink was cloaked. I do believe more transparency is order for the following reasons:1. Our ocean view was blocked by over sized palm trees.2. To use pools: 59; to go to restaurants 59;3 Service fee another 59. 4. The room advertisement says 4 can stay; but really not more than 2 as the space is very small.I don’t believe we will return. Ty.

The description was inaccurate, led me to believe it was a 1 bedroom but it was literally 1 room with pull down Murphy bed. Left batteries in bowl on counter leaking acid, NO cleaning & paper supplies, not many towels. Agent I called to ask for more tp was extremely rude.

The property was close to the beach and two different pools, along with a restaurant, bar, shops and fitness building. Great location and priced well!

Decided last minute to take a golf trip. Room was booked quickly and property manager was quick to respond. Space was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. It is small but very quaint and perfect for our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

It was the perfect getaway for what we needed!

The place was a bit tight for four people, but overall we had a comfortable stay. The bathroom sink does have a slow drain issue. Other than that place was clean and enjoyable. It was centrally located in the island which made it easy access to all areas of the island. Parking is difficult, limited, and very tight. Had to park a distance from the room which at times was inconvenient for loading and unloading. Overall a great expirecne!

Like staying in a container, no dryer Had to spend a more money $200.00 for two people just to buy a hamburger or get in the pool then rent a tent a $500 golf cart to get around Last time for my family and friends and everyone I talk , see about how pictures are not what you are paying for or where I come from lied to

This space was exactly what we needed for a quick holiday vacation! Close to everything and Kathy was responsive and helpful! Would definitely book again.
