A private, spacious getaway for two. Hear the ocean from the backyard, off street parking, bright and comfortable room. Close to the beach, but not in all the hustle and bustle, but in a quiet neighborhood. A neighborhood great for walking or riding the available bicycles. This space is over our garage and completely private. You’ll park in driveway, enter through the door right in front of where you park and you’ll go straight up the stairs.

Stayed Jul 28, 2025Just the perfect place to getaway for a few days with my Mom! The space was just as described. It was very clean and the neighborhood felt very safe. The hosts were very friendly and so helpful! Very close to everything we wanted to do. We visited the beach, shopping in Shallotte and eating ice cream at Calabash Creamery. The host provided little extras that made our stay so much easier. They had beach chairs, ice for our cooler and an extra key (i might have locked myself out of our room.) I would highly recommend this location for your perfect getaway!

Stayed Jul 10, 2024Patti and Rob were lovely hosts. They created a very welcoming space and were helpful with any questions I had. Despite nearly constant rain during my short beach stay, I enjoyed a cozy spot to read, watch some movies, and relax. I was able to enjoy their garden space in the back and Rob helped set up the grill for dinner one night. Another perk were the bikes and other beach gear to borrow. I went for a short ride nearby - neighborhood is near the waterway but view is mostly obstructed by houses. The beach is a short 5 min drive across the bridge. I do recommend eating at the Sugar Shack Jamaican Restaurant - delicious ribs, jerk meats, and key lime pie! The only drawback, which wasn't much of an issue for my stay is lack of a kitchenette sink to wash dishes. I didn't use too many dishes and managed with the bathroom sink as I was told to use. But consider bringing paper plates, bowls, etc for convenience. I would highly recommend this spot for 1-2 people wanting to be close to the water but okay with needing a car to get to the beach. I hope to be back when the sun is out!

Stayed Jun 4, 2024It was a beautiful, private and quiet getaway. Ocean Isle Beach is awesome!! The owners were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful backyard and garden. I would just have extra towels and washcloths for our stay but besides that we really enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend.
