New London Hideaway Near Beaches & Local Spots!

This Property is exceptionally clean and the attention to detail for visitors comfort is superior. The hosts are very friendly, and the place is very quiet. While it did rain, we did not use the swimming pool, but definitely would stay here again when we come back to visit the Coast Guard Academy.

Jimmy and Nancy’s place was fantastic. Very clean and stylish with everything you needed. In a great location, right near the beach, great places to eat, and other major attractions in nearby Mystic which they’ve taken the time to share in a very detailed welcome binder. The apartment is perfect for families especially as Jimmy and Nancy thought through every detail to make their place feel like home. They included special touches like plastic utensils and disinfectant wipes and even accommodated the little ones with toddler dishes and utensils, a baby gate, high chair, booster seat and age-appropriate pool toys. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful visit to New London while we were moving our child to college! The house is bright, airy, clean, comfortable and beautiful. It’s conveniently located, close to downtown New London. The backyard is gorgeous and the pool was great. The hosts are just lovely people and made the process so easy and seamless! We will definitely be back!

Nancy and Jimmy provided an excellent experience for our family’s first vacation! Their home is clean and well stocked from the kitchen, to the bathroom, to the bedrooms, and even the dining room had some family fun tucked inside the drawers. Nancy has done a wonderful job inside and Jimmy has done a phenomenal job outside with all of his wonderful flowers, lush plants, and perhaps the greenest and softest grass we’ve felt!We love dogs and their dog Cinnamon is as friendly a host as they are , and despite the (constant) requests from my husband to let Cinnamon visit with us (and sleep-over) upstairs, Nancy was kind and considerate to think of any future guests they might have who could have a dog allergy.We cannot say enough about how amazing Nancy & Jimmy were, and that they treated us as family. If we are to return to this area, there is NO other place we’ll stay.

Perfect stay at The Hideaway. Wonderful Hosts, beautiful gardens. We breezed into town for two show's at Mohegan and getting transportation to and from was easy. House was very clean and towels a plenty! Would book again:)

Everything was awesome. Jim and Nancy are delightful. The property was centrally located so we could go to the beach with ease and see all the sights in Mystic. I was wonderful not having to pack all the things since so much is supplied. Highly recommend.

My old friend and I met up with our children and had a fabulous stay. The apartment was very modern, clean and homey. Nancy and Jimmy were the perfect hosts with great communication and very hospitable vibes. I would recommend for anyone who thinks of staying with them!

Very nice property, all newly built and the owners did a great job making a great, 2 bedroom rental complete with parking, private access, a pool, big kitchen and living space. We stayed here as a family of 4 and it was very comfortable and close distance to all the local attractions. Very clean with everything we needed for our visit and more included. The owners were extremely kind and accommodating.

My family had a great week! The rental came with a beach pass to Ocean Beach on the Sound. Which was great for all my kids, the big kids enjoyed the water slides, and my little guy loved the splash area. The location is a beautiful garden oasis and Jim & Nancy were always available to offer great suggestions. They took every measure and went far beyond expectations to ensure we had a memorable stay. We took in the Mystic area and were close enough for an easy drive to Misquamicut Beach for waves. The rental conveniently offered beach chairs and boogie boards which saved us from having to pack extra beach gear. I plan to return again!
