Everything you need for a comfortable stay is already set up. If anything comes up, we're a quick message away.

The Neighborhood:

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, indulge in delicious wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or enjoy a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch.

Portland isn't just for foodies. Hawthorne boasts a vibrant indie spirit, with numerous made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue, serving local McMenamins food and microbrews.

If bar hopping isn’t your idea of fun, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent. Here, you'll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city. Whether you’re into dining, shopping, or outdoor adventures, the Hawthorne/Buckman District has something for everyone. Enjoy your stay in this eclectic and lively neighborhood!

Getting Around:

Walking — This neighborhood sits between the Division and Hawthorne corridors, two of Portland's best streets for dining and shopping — both within easy walking distance.

Bus — TriMet Route 2 (Division) and Route 75 (Cesar Chavez) provide frequent service to downtown (~15 min).

Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Portland's bike lane network makes cycling easy and safe.

Driving — Free street parking available (read signs for restrictions). Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) typically arrives in under 5 minutes.

✈️ Airport — PDX is about 16 minutes by car or a quick MAX + bus connection.

Other Things to Note:

Pet-Friendly Space

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team deep cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

⏰ Quiet Hours

10 PM - 7 AM (building + city ordinance)

This was a decent apartment - close to what we wanted, comfortable bed, a little bit of street noise but ok with ear plugs. But beware - there is a large security deposit which is not refunded until 2 weeks after you leave (even though they can assess any damage immediately).

Property was fantastic. I had everything I needed and the location can't be beat. Free parking typically available on the street was a huge plus. The bed and sheets were super comfortable. You can hop on bus 14 and be downtown in 5 minutes. I would absolutely stay here again.
