We lived our stay here- the space is really bright and well designed. Both bedrooms are lovely with comfy beds etc and the is a great courtyard too. Property is walking distance to everythin!Graham our host was really helpful and communicative.. hope to stay again.

We had an excellent stay at the Bolthole. The property was well maintained with great amenities, and its location was convenient to Market Street, the Old Course, and St Andrews University. Graham was a helpful host. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!!

Perfect!! This property was everything we had hoped for. Location was right in the middle of St. Andrews. Close to the golf course and restaurants. All furnishings were lovely. Graham has thought of everything. Bedding and towels were luxurious. Communication was excellent. Definitely stay here. I hope one day we can return.

The amenities of the property, the cleanliness, and the location were great! The property is well appointed, met all of our needs, was very clean, and is exactly as pictured in the VRBO listing. The location of the Bolthole is perfect for golfers…a relatively short walk to the St. Andrews Links golf courses. Also, many nice pubs/restaurants and shops nearby; as well as other sights like the University of St. Andrews, St. Andrews Castle, etc. Already looking forward to a return visit!

We had a three night stay while visiting my daughter at University. The property is exactly as shown in the pictures! The property was very clean and has everything you need. Communication with the owner was excellent and the location is perfect while visiting St Andrews!

Fantastic experience staying at the bolt hole. The apartment was immaculate and was equipped with everything we could ever ask for. The patio was a great bonus on several nice sunny days to enjoy dining outside. Graham was a great host and I’m sure we will be back, as it is literally a 10 minute walk to the first tee of the Old Course.

Graham’s place couldn’t be more perfect. He’s thought of everything, even down to extra batteries for the TV remotes. The location is ideal for enjoying the shops and the golf courses.

I rented this cottage for the bride and groom for their St Andrews wedding. We didn't tell anyone where they were staying so they had a private getaway. For this purpose the cottage was perfect. It was very nice. Quiet. Private. Cozy. Highly recommend.

The Boathole is an amazing, beautiful property located in the heart of St. Andrews. Recently renovated throughout, this is a quite and sophisticated property. The outdoor courtyard is very special. Will definitely visit again! Exceptional!

We stayed for 4 days at this amazing property in St. Andrews at the end of a multi week Scottish adventure. It was exactly what we needed to unwind from a busy couple of weeks. The property is well maintained and includes everything you could need, was super comfortable, and put us in the heart of St Andrews where we could walk easily to everything we wanted to do. The host was wonderful to work with and instructions and access were clear and easy. We are already planning our return visit! Highly recommended!

Stayed in this location for a few days before heading into London on business. Location is great, property is great.
