The cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. It is adorable, homey, clean, and had everything we needed, from comfy furniture to a well-equipped kitchen. The host was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent 3 night stay in this studio cottage in a safe ,quiet neighborhood. Convenient access to restaurants, shopping, coastal areas and state parks with walking trails. Loved the traditional homey space, artwork and small private balcony to enjoy my morning coffee and evening cocktail. As a host Susan is friendly, informative, accommodating and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She has included many small items in the kitchen and a few condiments to make your stay more comfortable. The cottage is updated, clean and the queen bed is super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The space was small, as advertised. Essentially a studio apartment with the living area, kitchen and bed all in the same space (The bathroom was a separate room with a door). The areas were separated visually, if not physically, so it didn't feel like a hotel room with a kitchen. I want to be clear, the single space was big enough to include a queen bed, night stands, two couches, a small dining table, shelving and a baby grand piano. The only thing we missed was a place to hang clothes. While it's probably not practical to build a fixed closet, a wardrobe would have nice. There were hooks that accommodated a few hangers. Aesthetically it was delightful. A cottage behind the owner's house. Flowers, trees...the picture is accurate. We could park in the driveway mere steps from the door. A small deck off the side provided a private space for coffee in the morning. The host was beyond wonderful. She made sure the property was accessible, greeted us, made herself available, but didn't hover. She even searched for some lost earrings after we left (we eventually found them in the car). The location was a comfortable walk to Maine Street and a grocery store. We selected the location (Brunswick, ME) because it was central to a number of day-trip locations.All-in-all, a great little place for a couple in a great location. I would stay there again without question.

What a lovely cottage! The hosts has thoughtfully put their personality into the furnishings and decor. Prior to our stay the host sent us a list of places to eat and things to doin the area. This helped us plan our stay. Once we arrived, we found a bouquet of tulips and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy for our anniversary. Wonderful visit!

This studio was a very nice place to stay. Sufficiently stocked and well laid out so it felt roomy and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown Brunswick and the college providing easy access to restaurants, coffee, theater, museums and more.Owners were readily available, if needed, very kind and knowledgeable of all Brunswick has to offer. I recommend staying here.

The place is just as pictured. The only thing that didn’t match was there was no washer/dryer. Susan was wonderful though. We’d been on the road for 3 weeks and she let us use her w/d. She’d been trying (unsuccessfully so far) to get VRBO to remove the w/d from the listing. The toilet paper was super thin, however. Otherwise the place was great. The Internet worked well. The shower was good. It was a walk to most of Brunswick. The bed was comfortable.. And the host (Susan) was so nice.

We enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Susan’s cottage —- had everything we needed; so comfortable and well-appointed; lots of thoughtful touches; close proximity to downtown —- and best of all was getting to know our host, who was delightful! … thank you, Susan!

The cottage is absolutely lovely. My teen son and I stayed while visiting Bowdoin. It’s on a quiet street that is a quick walk to campus. The decor was beautiful while also being relaxed. It also was very clean and I appreciated that the sheets and towels were scent-free.Though the cottage is directly behind the host’s home, it felt completely private. As for the host, Susan could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Communication was outstanding from my first inquiry before booking to when we left Brunswick. Highly recommend. I hope to return!

My spouse and I recently spent our Thanksgiving holidays in this little gem in the heart of downtown Brunswick. We were immediately made to feel welcome by Susan, and the houses felt like home to us. Thoughtful amenities were everywhere. There was a great reading selection - art, music, literature, vintage children's books. Best of all for me was the baby grand Steinway tucked away and ready to play. So cozy and warm. We will be returning for sure. Carol & Peter

Comfortable and private. Within walking distance of trains and buses that can take one further north or south. Easy access to downtown and coastal highway 1 by car. Hostess has tastefully decorated this studio cottage with good art and good books.

Even before we arrived, Susan made us feel welcome. She made checking in very low pressure and simple...we just walked in. At first glance, the cottage seemed quaint and peaceful. Inside, every item is attentively appointed and very tidy. Cleanliness is very important to us and the cottage was absolutely impeccable. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area and I highly recommend it as a comfortable, clean, peaceful, and beautiful rental property.
