Large suite/private bath/private entrance on quiet street near Thomas Bay

Such a fabulous stay. The space was bright, clean, and comfortable, and the special touches made it feel even more welcoming. It was larger than expected, and we loved having a mini fridge and coffee machine, perfect for slow mornings or a little wine and cheese at the end of the day. We’d return in a heartbeat.

What an exquisite place! Every comfort for the traveler has been anticipated, including homemade baked goods, a gift, and snacks. Wow! Super clean and bright, comfortable bed, good temperature control. So delightful.

This lodging is spacious, quiet, private and clean. It’s conveniently located in a nice neighborhood, an easy drive anywhere for shopping etc. and is safe for walking/running/cycling. The hosts are wonderful and add a lot of nice touches. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this place to others.

This was are first VRBO experience and Susan and Jeff made it incredible and memorable for us. Already planning are next stay.

The appartement was just unbelievable, everything was great. The appartement is on the 1st floor of Susan and Jeffs 21/2 year old house and everything is brandnew. They have thought about everything that makes the stay for their guests perfect, on top these both are so friendly and neat people. So sad that we only stayed one night during our newengland roadtrip.

This is a beautiful place! Everything you could possibly need is there if you need it. Great hosts too.

What a delightful treasure this little spot is. My wife and I booked a last minute getaway and wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable and Susan and Jeff's place did not disappoint. We were greeted by a personalized welcome message, a book of local attractions and recommendations of places to eat and we just felt like we were home. We didn't get to meet Susan until our second day when we were surprised by a plate of home made cookies and another little note. Susan was a wonderful host who really thinks about the guests she welcomes in and creates a space for them to relax and rest. We stayed for 2 nights and would go back in a heartbeat.

We decided to book a last minute trip and found this listing so booked it. Susan had a bed and breakfast in an earlier phase of her life and it shows! We described this stay as a Bed and no breakfast, but sooo many extra treats and added comforts along the way! The location of their home is convenient to Bath, Portland, and Brunswick. We packed in so much in 3 days that we were a bit tired when we came home! Susan and Jeff are delightful and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again! Their place is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay!

A gem!!! The accommodations were wonderful, it had a large guest room but still had a cozy feel to it. The host's attention to detail was over and above. There wasn't anything I could have added... there even was half and half in the fridge for my coffee .It was 10-15 minute drive to Bath and downtown Brunswick. They also put together a binder with FAQ, restaurant recommendations and various places to shop. Well done!! I hope to return in the future and would highly recommend this VRBO

After hiking/camping in Acadia for about a week, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our last night in Maine. The suite was so comfy, decorated perfectly, and super clean. Susan and Jeff personalized things for me and my guest and made us feel extremely welcome. I would definitely stay here again!

I continue to return to this property because it is beautifully set up, has lots of amenities, is private (although the hosts are very friendly and accommodating), and is located close to many Maine destinations. Comprehensive listing for local eateries, activities, and destinations are provided by the hosts. I will be returning!

Very convenient and clean accommodations. Many shopping and dining options are nearby. The home is only a 15-minute drive to Freeport as well.

The place was lovely, communications with the host were helpful and friendly. Dinner restaurant recommendations were great as well.

I’ve stayed with Susan and Jeff before several times. Definitely my preferred option when I’m visiting Maine! The room and bathroom is very large, comfortable and has everything you need, and special treatment that exceeds anyone’s expectations. I’ll be back -and recommend the accommodations very highly without hesitation!

Our suite at Susan and Jeff’s home was very clean, warmly decorated with a great assortment of books, toiletries, coffees, teas, an air purifier, a couple of special surprises along the way. We felt incredibly welcomed.

Susan has a beautiful suite which s primarily over the garage. I entered through the front door, which only the guest uses, and went up to a lovely reading nook/large landing. (This is a new home so no worry about old New England stairs). To one side is a good-sized bathroom and to the other side is the large bedroom with a microwave, apt. size refrigerator and your own robe.All the spaces are beautifully decorated and the hosts are so generous. I was welcomed but had my privacy. There were so many little touches that made it all very warm, comfortable and welcoming.

Property was everything as advertised with lots of little touches to make sure you had what you needed. Parkingwas right by the front door with your own entrance. Beautiful flowers and landscaping with a morning hummingbird greeting us as we ate our own breakfast on the front porch -not sure the hosts would be able to guarantee a hummingbird in their listing but was an added delight!There are full flight of stairs to spacious living quarters but gorgeous photographs and art work top enjoy as you go up and down. The hosts clearly put lots of thought and little touches into making our stay lovely.

The people who run this VRBO take their job seriously! True professionals, they are focused on making the guest not only feel at home, but totally pampered. I stayed there two nights, and wished I could stay longer! There were lovely little surprises everywhere I turned (I won't be a spoiler by listing them!), but I felt like I'd checked in at a resort! The place was immaculate, and from the extremely comfortable bed to the detailed book of recommendations for food and activities in the area, this place offered everything I needed!

Susan and Jeff are truly exceptional hosts. Even though it’s a shared home, you have the entire second floor to yourself—including a private bathroom and a separate entrance—so there’s plenty of privacy. The king bed is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.Susan and Jeff have thoughtfully prepared everything you could need for your stay—and more. We had a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to downtown Brunswick. The dishes that were provided allowed us to have a simple breakfast and to reheat leftovers. Little gifts left by our hostess were a nice treat.

This was a great place for us to stay for our daughter's graduation from Bowdoin! Everything was very tastefully decorated and some small gifts added to the charm. Everything was extremely clean and details were attended to. We were able to drive to downtown Brunswick in just a few minutes. The Maritime Museum in Bath was not far. The perfect location for our social and sightseeing events!

As a single older woman who loves adventure, this place was just right. It was more spacious than I expected with everything I needed and more. The decor was creative and calming. I had privacy and felt very safe. Susan is the host with the most, anticipating every need, and the second day back from exploring the beautiful Maine coast, I was pampered with a plate of fresh baked cookies. Highly recommend and would visit again without hesitation.

We had such a lovely stay in Susan’s guest suite while bringing my daughter to tour Bowdoin. Incredibly clean with a very comfortable bed and lots of thoughtful touches (including an ice cold Diet Coke in the mini-fridge, which my teen really appreciated). Thank you!

Susan is clearly a hospitality guru- this place is not only extremely comfortable, the host was very communicative without being overwhelming in any way. It is beautifully decorated, well stocked, and more than big enough for a multi day stay. So many little touches makes staying here feel even more special. We will be back for sure when in the area.

Staying at Susan’s and Jeff’s was so fine. So warm and welcoming . This suite provides so much more than just a place to stay. The bedroom is spacious, bed very comfortable with lovely linens.Artwork, cushioned seating ,tables and beautiful lamps make it a comfortable haven.The library with upholstered chair ,ottoman,and many cozy throws to snuggle.Spacious bathroom.Everything thing is done so thoughtfully. Microwave ,coffee ,snacks and drinks.Susan’s photography is wonderful!More than the comforts of home. Immaculate! We only stayed one night. So much in the information book too.Thank you Susan and Jeff for sharing so much!

This VRBO was lovely, as were the hosts. The place was not only impeccably clean, but also charming, cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable, and even a reading area with a library. What a wonderful place to stay on our way up to Acadia National Park. The room is private, decorated in the most beautiful and welcoming way, and everything was so clean. The hosts are very communicative and kind. 5 stars- would stay there again!
