Loft Apartments - City Center

Nice roomy condo if you want to be close to all the sights of downtown Rekjavik. Nice full kitchen. Good communication with host via email. Overall cleanliness could have room for improvement.

This is a beautiful apartment, in a perfect location, with floor to ceiling windows exposing a view of the sea. Everything is new and sparkling ,the kitchen is very well equipped for at home dining, but with all the magnificent restaurants a stone's throw away, you may not want to prepare anything more than the morning coffee . Gunner left a notebook full of instructions, ideas and recommendations, and was very responsive to all inquires. We really enjoyed our stay , and recommend the unit highly .

This is a great space in the heart of the downtown area. Perfect for those without a car. You can literally walk everywhere and grab a cab or bus close by. Thank you Gunnar for sharing your home with us! It helped make our stay in Reykjavik more than amazing!!

My family stayed here after a Baltic cruise on the way back to the US. You couldn’t ask for a better location and the views were amazing! The place is very modern. The few things I wasn’t impressed with was the lack of cleanliness. When we arrived it just didn’t look or feel very clean. There was a cleaning bottle on the couch and it looked like someone left in the middle of cleaning. The windows had fingerprints all over them, the refrigerator had thick food stains, hairs in the bathroom drawers, and sticky floors. I’m not sure if this was just a one time thing. I was going to ask the owner, but I already had two questions sent to him that he never responded to. Don’t give me wrong, it’s a beautiful place in a beautiful location. It can tend to get a little noisy at night because of the Irish pub up the street. I would also recommend that the owner leave directions for the impossibly hard to understand clothes washer. I would stay here again but I would make sure to let the owner know that I would really like for it to be cleaner.

The location of this home is fantastic. It is next to the main shopping district and is close to everything. The home is inviting and the neighborhood is perfect. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything needed. What a wonderful experience. Thank you!

This modern and spacious unit is in a great location. I stayed her with my wife and four kids for a week and it make for a very comfortable home base. Was nice to be so conveniently located on our 'easy' days when we did things in & around Reykjavik. The discount grocery store 'Bonus' is less than a 10min walk up the street. Gunnar was very responsive to my queries leading up to my stay and we'd definitely consider staying again if/when we return to Iceland.
