Wonderful view of the Anemone sculpture - near to supermarkets, little bars and fish restaurants - a more relaxed vibe than the centre of Porto. J and C were on hand to meet and great us and allowed an early check in.The space was spotlessly clean and very airy.It made for a relaxed and memorable stay.

Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended!We recently stayed at this property and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From answering our questions prior of arrival, João and Ana were welcoming, professional, and attentive to our needs. They even provided us with public transportation information and places to see.The apartment was very spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. I especially appreciated the stunning view, and also great Wi-Fi.We hope to return to this property someday when visiting Porto again.The location is also ideal, park the car and walk to great restaurants (15 minutes away) or 5 minutes to Take Away restaurant, supermarket with restaurant inside, to a wonderful cafe/bakery just down the street.Overall, this was one of the best experiences we had on our trip.

We enjoyed the location, although the beach was closed for swimming the entire week we were there due to high contaminant counts. We did enjoy just hanging out on the sand one day. So many things are walkable, and an Uber is always about 10 minutes away.

Beautiful apartment, the perfect place to stay in Matosinhos. We stayed with 4 kids, ages 10 to 20 and everyone had enough space to be comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fresh ocean air coming through all the windows. No need for AC. The beach is right around the corner. There are also multiple transit options to get to other parts of Porto. Good food options nearby, as well as a grocery store. Excellent hosts with great communication and a lot of clear instructions. It felt like a real home, not a generic rental.

Comfortable, wonderful sea breeze and conveniently located near the beach, groceries (excellent Pingu a short walk away) AND underground parking!The kitchen is well equipped but we didn't make much use of that. The coffee maker is a Dolce Gusto - get pods at the Pingu!A special thanks to the hosts for allowing us to stay an extra day after I got sick and had to visit the hospital. It gave me great relief and peace of mind to know I had a bed to crawl back into after leaving the hospital.

My family had to find accommodation in Matasinhos with very little notice. We were so fortunate this property was available. It is spacious, has an incredible view (the Anomene structure is spectacular during a storm!), is convenient to the beach (of course), grocery, restaurants, the mercado, and public transportation to Porto. I would have loved to have explored the beautiful large park nearby, but didn't have time. Cristina and Joao met us to orient us to the flat. They are both gracious and generous. We felt very welcome. They are also very responsive. We lost electricity one evening, and Joao was immediately on WhatsApp guiding me through the electric panel. :) The kitchen is very well-stocked. My brother is a gourmet cook and had what he needed to cook amazing meals. The one mistake I made was not reading the About the Property section - I was on mobile, in a rush, and didn't see it. Be sure to read it before booking. There is an extra charge if you want to use more than 2 bedrooms. All in all, I heartily recommend staying here, and would love to book again when I'm back in the area.

Very nice and big apartment, everything well organized. Nice area, close to the street with great fish restaurants.

This was a lovely place to stay with my family and grandchildren. The hosts were very accommodating and the home was comfortable and inviting.

We were met at the door by the wonderful owners! They walked us around the flat and showed us how absolutely everything worked. The communication was fast and friendly. Their very professional website was extremely helpful. We requested an additional fan... they brought us a brand new one within hours! The space itself is quite roomy. Walk time to the expansive beach takes less than 5 minutes. FYI.. the ocean water is very cold. Groceries, restaurants, shops and transportation all nearby. We highly recommended the propery... it won't disappoint.

We loved our stay in Matosinhos, the apartment is spacious and well equipped and the owners welcomed us in a kind way. Parking space in de garage requires good driving skills, as the entrance is a bit narrow. We liked the location very much with a nice view on the sea. On walking distance are many restaurants and also a supermarket. The location enabled us to explore the northern parts of Portugal, for sure we will return!
