Lancaster City Studio in Historical District

Dinghy and dreary , the only bathroom light was so dim it only served as a nightlight. No hot water. Shower dripped all night. Bedside lamp the same wattage ( maybe 33 watt). I was provided no key for lock & got locked out for 1 1/2 hours after trying to call owner for over 1/2 hour. I called the police and they had me text her. Owner then, finally relented to have someone come. Owner told me maybe I’ll find the key in meanwhile. Very snarky and inhospitable on all communication. Wants to charge me $50 for having her man come unlock door for me. ( he was nice and gave me a key after the fact) She complained that I woke her up at 11pm and left me to sit outside in the night until 12:30 an. I believe she is the owner of the funeral home across the street and her personality suits it. Worst experience ever.

It's nice when your away and you have an at home experience

Heard every noise including the cat running around all night long with the appartment above, plus evening activities from the couple above. There is no pressure in the shower. I will not use this app for another rental again.

I needed a crash pad for a working weekend and didn't much....except internet which was not available. Prior to arrival I communicated with the owner that I was in town for a working trip and she mad no mention of this change from the listing. It wasn't until I check in was I told that there was no wifi available. Everything else was as stated, and is no frills which I was expecting. The location is great though.

Perfect location for walking Lancaster area The apartment is clean, well-lit, and radiators work well. Check in process was easy and convenient. Laundry facilities on property very convenient. Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom have all the necessary items provided. Would definitely make a return visit
