La Vue Sur La Mer Beach House

Our kids didn't want to leave! Pietro is an amazing host. All the amenities are at your fingertips. His place is set up perfectly for families. One of the key highlights of our trip to Italy.

We ordered several of the pastas for lunch on some days and they were outstanding. The staff were all very helpful and competent. Pietro was great to work with. The wearing of caps in the pool was a big change for us but we eventually adapted.

We visited Pietro and the Bagno Lelia for one week in July 22 and checked in into the beach house ‚Vue sur la mer‘. For my wife, our two small kids ( 4) and myself, the time was just fantastic! Pietro is a great host. You can always see his dedication for the bagno and the guests. The Pool with the nice bar, the gorgeous restaurant, the nearby beach and many small perfect details make a fantastic vacation and make you feel at home soon. We all loved it!

This is the first time I stayed at a one of the traditional beach establishments in Viareggio - and I could not be more pleased. The apartment overlooked the pool area but with privacy from a hedgerow. Each morning we enjoyed a cappuccino overlooking the sea - and the beach club offered meals and drinks also. Pietro provided us with the complete works to enjoy a week at the beach; the beach tent with chairs, beds, and even beach towels. The house was fully equipped, though we enjoyed most meals at a restaurant either along the famous passegiata or in the pine forest. The club is far enough away from night life to remain tranquil and close enough to go everywhere by foot if needed. We were able to enjoy day trips to Lucca and Cinque Terre by train and return home to a refreshing dip in the pool. HIGHLY recommended. Remember to bring sunscreen :)

The whole stay was great. A beautiful well maintained and decorated house. Super comfortable. The location is great while it’s on the beach and a pool in front of the house. Traditional Tuscan cities are a short drive away. Lastly, the host Pietro is super friendly and great in communication. Would recommend staying here!

We were delighted with our time at Bagno Lelia with Pietro and his team. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, wonderfully furnished and welcoming. A couple of little things would have helped - a pint of milk, some tea and coffee for example. The facilities are great with a short stroll to the pool or beach. Swimming caps are a must in the pool which is very normal in Italy apparently. Beach and pool towels are provided too. Whilst you can eat in the on site restaurant there is ample choice locally. We particularly liked the Europa restaurant a short walk to the north. Taxis are easily arranged by the staff and it’s a ten minute drive to the station too. Overall - a lovely holiday experience!

We had an amazing stay, the apartment had a perfect location to get around on foot. Pool was great and very clean. The staff even installed a lane line so my kids could do swim workouts in the mornings. Would recommend this place to anyone, but really great for families.

The property was perfect for a family of 4 . Beautifully presented and clean , everything you would need , excellent storage too ! Pietro was very friendly and helpful giving suggestions of places to visit and generally helping with any questions we had . It’s quiet here too, though we were off season . The beach club looks really nice too - lovely pool with seating and loungers on the beach too . However the weather prevented us from using this aspect . Viareggio is perfectly positioned to visit Pisa, Florence , Lucca ( a must ) and Pietrasanta . The train links are excellent . Lots of restaurants within walking distance to Lido di Camiaore and Viareggio . It’s worth getting off the main drag for better more authentic Italian cusine ! It’s very flat along the long shore front so cycling is a great way to get around . All in all a great trip which I will be recommending .

Pietro’s beach house was exactly as expected and shown in the photos. He was a gracious host and was available to answer multiple questions we had about the area. Highly recommend.
