La Querceta, Typical Residence. Last Minute Offer

We spent a relaxing week in a flat that is unparalleled in terms of tranquillity and panorama. The only thing you hear is the wildlife with its own soundscape depending on the time of day. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace in the mornings and evenings with a fantastic view, and before that we refreshed ourselves in the still pleasant pool water. Despite the seclusion, it takes only 10 minutes to get to Torrita de Siena, where there are a sufficient number of specialist shops and supermarkets. The WiFi signal mentioned by other holidaymakers can easily be compensated with 4G/5G. Excursions in the near and far surroundings to Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Orvieto, Siena, Cortona, the unique Val d'Orcia, and many more are easily possible thanks to the nearby motorway exit (15 min). We will be back!

We stayed at this place for a week and really enjoyed Tuscany. There are a lot nice places to visit near this house, the swimming pool was also very nice! It is great to enjoy a fresh swim in your private pool after visiting one of the nice places around.

We spent a week in a beautiful holiday home with a magnificent view. It was really fun. The pool also gave us a pleasant cooling. The hostess Loredana was very friendly and hospitable and received us very well. We will definitely go back again. Thank you Loredana!

We spent a wonderful time in the most beautiful place, overviewing an incredibly enchanting Tuscan countryside. The host is such a kind and warm person we had lovely conversations with. The swimming pool is completely private with panoramic view. We say a big and heartfelt “Grazie Mille” for a beautiful and memorable holiday experience!! Hoping to come back soon…

What a lovely find. Great location, very clean and well presented. We were treated to fruit and goodies in the fridge on arrival and lovely home cooking. Loredana is so lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Clean , comfortable bed , private patio and well equipped with extraordinary view of Montepulciano, Montefollonico, and valdichiana. Central to Val dorcia and valdichiana. Loredana went above expectations as a generous host and we appreciated the bread and jam and butter and coffee on arrival and especially use of her pool Her excellent English and sincere and informative hosting made this trip memorable. Make sure you follow her detailed map and any car will do on the country road.

Really nice little house in the middle of Tuscany countryside. You will find here peace and all the things required to have a great time (Quiet house, amazing views, swiming-pool...) The place is ideally located to allow you to enjoy the wine in Montepulciano, the thermal water in Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Sienna... Everything is pretty easy to reach by car, if you are into hiking there is a lot of options, from the small walk to Montefollonico to bigger trails to Montepulciano and Torrita Di Sienna. Finally Loredana is a great host with plenty of small attentions which makes the stay even more pleasant (Some fruits, Milk and butter at the arrival, homemade loaf of bread...) I would definitively recommend that place.

My husband and I stayed in La Querceta for two weeks in June and we absolutely loved the place. It's even more beautiful than in the pictures. When we were planning our holidays we looked for a quiet place in natural surroundings and our dream fully came true. La Querceta even exceeded our high expectations because of the warm welcome by Mrs. Loredana Cozzuto-Vercken. She is really adorable and we have had several uplifting and animated talks together! Also the beautiful garden with roses and lavender that attracted the most wonderful butterflies was astonishing. The view on the mountains and hillsides is also very beautiful. Imagine yourselves having breakfast under a reedy roof, the sun is shining in the clear blue sky, you are surrounded with the relaxing smell of lavender and you hear nothing else but the gentle buzzing of the bees and birds singing. That was a daily reality at La Querceta! The house itself was fully equiped and very clean. The large garden with a private swimming pool and comfortable garden furniture makes it totally complete!! The evenings could sometimes be a bit windy because it is located on a hill and we do advise anyone to bring an anti-mosquitoes cream. But these were only minor issues and do not influence our overall magnificent experience. There's a beautiful 7,5 km trail to hike that includes a visit to the little town of Montefollonico, which you can see from La Querceta on the top of the hill. And other beautiful historical towns nearby we visited are Pienza and Montepulciano. Arezzo is a one hour drive and also an amazingly beautiful city! And of course Siena and Florence are recommended, but we did not go there this time because we already visited those two wonderful cities in previous holidays. We have nothing more to add. It was a great holiday and we would go back to La Querceta immediately again if we could!!

My husband and I stayed here for two delightful weeks in September. Our host, Loredana was very welcoming and kind. Little touches like homemade bread and lemon marmalade on our arrival were part of a fantastic welcome. The house is beautiful and the view breathtaking. The location is a perfect base for visiting major cities, such as Siena and Florence and has gorgeous hill towns close by. The house has all the amenities you might need and is decorated tastefully and comfortably. We will definitely be back!
