King Suite in Highlands Close to town

Clean, cute, and comfortable!

Perfect retreat for couple. Lovely, quiet place. Great accoutrements. Slept like logs.

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at the hummingbird retreat! It was plenty spacious and the host really thought of everything! I.E. wife forgot her phone charger, boom! Iphone chargers were on BOTH nightstands! 10/10 experience!

SO close to Highlands and local trails - was the perfect getaway and immaculately kept space. Would definitely return!

My husband, mother and son stayed at the Hummingbird Suite for a wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards. Not only was the suite so conveniently located to the wedding site but it was extremely close to the cute little downtown area as well. The Hummingbird Suite far exceeded our expectations! Julie was easy to contact and antipated any need of her guests stay. Some of the amenities we foud were, robes, smore makings and pokers, snacks, coffee/hot chocolate/ creamer, filtered water station, hairdryer, steamer, special make up towels, high quality shampoo/conditioner, and extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The place was private, quiet and clean- it did not feel like it was attached to a larger home and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Everything about my stay was top notch. The suite was absolutely lovely and Julie was the best host I've had in all the many places I've stayed. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful suite! So spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed and so many nice extras and special touches. Julie was a joy to work with; communication was easy. She followed up to see how we were doing, even making nice suggestions for things to do around Highlands. The location is great, just outside of town but close enough to make an easy trip of anything we sought to do. We will definitely return and are looking forward to it!

This was our second stay at the Hummingbird Suite and was just as amazing as the first. So clean, has everything you need, amazing hosts and super close to town! Absolute perfection. Will be back!

Due to a medical emergency, we were not able to make the stay. The host was very understanding, respectful, and responsive in resolving the issue. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to join the host for a future stay very soon.

The property was immaculate in every way. The cleanliness and attention to detail was top notch. The snacks and the bottle of wine were unexpected surprises. An overall excellent experience.

As a husband who rarely gets it right when trying to do for my wife, I actually hit it out the park with this VRBO choice. My wife is an event planner who has stayed at more 5 star hotels than I can count and for her to give me the thumbs almost made me cry with joy! This listing delivered on what was promised and the extra little touches the host provided, without me even asking, really helped me get that “Knocked it out the park” rating from my better half. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I really can't put into words how amazing and accommodating Julie is and how private and cozy and clean the property is! We really enjoyed the smore's fire pit on the patio, playing board games and relaxing in the luxurious space. My most favorite part was how clean it was and everything was so comfortable and relaxing. Our daughters adored the murphy bed and the living room with the bed out is actually still so spacious - even more so than the photos suggest. Also, we timed it, it's only 3 minutes to Highlands which was another huge plus. We can't wait to go back again!!!!!

Such an exceptional stay, possibly my best short term rental experience (and I've stayed in many!). Often, you find that hosts cut corners or try to skimp wherever they think they can get away with it, but Julie is the complete opposite. There are so many thoughtful and luxurious touches all over the place, and it's so tastefully put together in every way. Location was extremely convenient to Highlands main st as well as several hikes. My only complaint if you can call it that is that the photos really don't do this place justice!
