Mark is a great host, very kind! The house is very complete and tidy, great big bath and wonderful bed! The surround is very quiet, great to look around with a heat cam to see foxes, rabbits, etc. Parking the car right in front of the house was also very nice, to load and unload.

The pictures of the property don't do it justice and with sunny weather for my whole three night stay, it looked even better. The property has everything you need, the bed I believe is kingsize, rather than double, and extremely comfortable. All linens provided were good quality and clean. The sofa was really comfortable and the log burner made it very cozy in the evenings. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil that you might need for dining in. I chose this property not only for its design and furnishings, but for its vast views and abundant natural light. Mark, the owner, was very responsive whenever I contacted him, gave me pointers re local walks (there are lovely bridlepaths through fields almost adjacent to the property) and supplied more kindling when I need it. There were several pub recommendations but I ate at Tiger Inn twice and the food and service was second to none. All in all I had a wonderful, relaxing three nights at Fancoombe and would happily return.

The cottage was very quiet with beautiful views all around and well located for exploring east Kent. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and all the appliances were straightforward to work. The only thing we could have done with was a dish/Jcloth for wiping down the worktops. The cutlery had obviously been through the dishwasher many times and the handles were loose.
