The Space: Welcome to 493 Suites, your comfortable home base on iconic King Street. This thoughtfully designed second-floor suite is located inside a charming historic building, right above Sewing Down South, featured on Southern Charm, placing you in the heart of Charleston’s most vibrant district.

Step inside to a welcoming entry that opens into a bright, open-concept kitchen and living area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The living room offers cozy seating for the whole group, including a queen sleeper sofa, and a large 60” Smart TV with popular streaming apps ready for you to log in and enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen makes mornings easy and shared meals a breeze.

Both bedrooms feature plush queen beds and Smart TVs for added comfort. One bedroom includes a private ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has easy access to the hallway bathroom, each with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

Parking: If you’d like to purchase a $25/day parking pass, please contact our concierge team at least 24 hours before arrival with your name, suite number, vehicle details, and dates needed. Your pass will be waiting in the unit and provides access to our nearby lot. Please be sure to display the pass and park only in designated spaces, avoiding personal spots and the Morris Brown AME Church fence area. Unauthorized vehicles may be booted or towed.

    Wonderful stay with my family here. Wanted to stay downtown and this property was perfectly situated. Easy to walk to many different wonderful places. Parking was easy and safe. As a family of 4 we all had our own space.

    This is located in the perfect location on King Street right in the middle of great shopping and restaurants. Communication was above and beyond what would be expected. They really know their stuff and are extremely helpful. The condo was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We were a family traveling to visit our son at college. It was perfect for us. I highly recommended and can tell you this is our now go-to instead of hotels In Charleston.

    We loved the Battery Suite. It was perfectly located on King street so we were able to walk everywhere. Our hosts were always very responsive, helpful and a delight to work with. We can't wait to plan our next stay here!

    Perfect property to experience historic downtown Charleston and all that it has to offer. Easy walking distance to shopping, must see locations and some of the best restaurants the area has to offer. Property owners were great to work with and everything was as simple as possible.

    Very comfortable two bed two bath option. Well maintained, clean and it provided everything that one could reasonably expect. Safe, off street, parking available behind the building. Location puts you within walking distance to great food and shops

    This property really was just as described. Clean, cozy and awesome location. Perfect size for 2 couples, It was in an ideal location for exploring all of downtown Charleston, especially along King St. We would definitely stay here again.

    Great location. Bedrooms/bathrooms were clean. I would recommend adding a Keurig coffee maker, more wine glasses and silverware in the kitchen. The living room couch needs to be replaced -the cushions were worn out. Can’t imagine anyone sleeping on it. The Tv was nice but crooked and on an angle as too big for the wall. Also, more amenities like toilet paper and add Kleenex…especially with pollen season.

    If you’re looking for a place central to everything this is it ! We walked just about everywhere ! The hosts were super responsive and helpful with guides , connection to local vendors etc
