    The accommodations were exactly as shown in pictures, actually even better in person. The kitchen was well appointed with various seasonings, which was very helpful. The location was smack in the middle of the beach so it was central to EVERYTHING. There were lots of flotation toys to enjoy in the ocean, which were complementary. The only negative comment which was not the properties fault, was it’s next-door to the rainbow café, which has loud music from 11 o’clock am, well into the evening and you can hear it in both bedrooms, a noise machine would have been helpful. Aside from that, it was perfect!

    Nobody starts a 4-week VRBO stay looking to leave a review like this. There were far too many unresolved problems for anything more than 2*. The listing contained multiple falsities; if we had known these things, we would have happily booked a different rental. Foremost of these problems was the noise from a nearby beach club. Starting before noon, and running late into the night, we were exposed to loud, thumping music. The windows might(?) be soundproofed as indicated; if that is true, then the walls need some soundproofing too as we could easily hear the music with the doors closed and AC running. It’s fortunate that the local pharmacy sells ear plugs.Additional problems included poor communication regarding availability of supplies; a rainfall shower head that doesn’t operate during high season due to lowered water pressure; and a lack of BBQ tools for the charcoal grill in the basement.While there are technically 2 coffee makers, the auto drip takes a full 15 minutes for two cups, and the French press makes sludge as there is neither a coffee grinder in the apartment nor coarse ground coffee available in multiple supermarkets on both the French and Dutch sides of the island.While the weekly cleanings during our stay were nice, it would have been far nicer if the cleaner hadn’t locked us out while we were on the beach (we had our keys, she used a lock for which we were not provided a key).     We recently stayed in Alex’s rental unit for 10 days. Alex is a very responsive host and it was a pleasure to deal with him. He really tries hard to ensure his guests have a positive experience in his rental unit. The view from the balcony is the real star of this unit, it is absolutely stunning. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee! The unit is ideally located in Grand Case, within walking distance of the many restaurants and 3 mini-supermarkets that had a good variety of groceries to choose from. It is also a short ride to the larger Super U market and the other shops around it. The unit is right on the best part of the beach, in our opinion, and Julian had loungers and umbrellas ready for us every morning. There are 3 beach bars a few doors down from the unit. The music wasn’t too loud during the week. On the weekend Rainbow Café was a little louder but the music ended at a good time and we didn’t find it to be an issue. The unit is adequately stocked with amenities and we found that we had all that we needed to cook a few meals in. The unit is on the second floor from street level and it is 3 floors down to access the beach. We are two 60-ish year-old couples and we didn’t find the stairs to be an issue. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the unit for you. Thank you, Alex, for the wonderful stay!

    Property did not disappoint. Excellent & clean condition. Great location for beautiful beach & great food choices. The music from nearby venue was not a bother & did not continue until too late. We liked the music actually. The owner manager was very accommodating. We will definitely stay in the same location in the future.

    Best beach on the island! Great restaurants on both sides of the apartment. The host responded promptly to all of our inquiries. Would definitely stay here again!

    The property is very nice, but the Rainbow Nightclub is nearby. The constant throbbing music blasted from their speakers never ends. It is relentless. I will be very happy to escape this noise.

    the rental unit was super, and fit our needs well. The beach setup worked well for access to good chairs and umbrellas. Good location near plenty of restaurants, just don't expect a pristine neighborhood due to lingering damage from the storm. Beach is awesome, and close proximity to bars on each side brings a lively environment on the weekend. If you are looking for quiet solitude, this may not be a good fit. If you are looking for a fun environment, you will like it. We would definitely return!

    We had a great stay at this property, however it may not be for everyone. Some guests might find the music from two neighbouring food and beverage establishments to be a distraction. Otherwise, the place was clean, well equipped, and well managed.
